Very comfy

We enjoyed the peaceful location and comfort in being in town. We also felt safe. Very beautiful home with great outdoor lighting (day and night). Looking forward in booking again.

Phenomenal option

Excellent property - cozy and quiet with everything one needs to feel at home. The guesthouse is proximate to great restaurants, Hyde Park and the University. The property manager (Pete) is super responsive should anything need to be addressed which frankly is unlikely. Superb alternative to a hotel, highly recommend!

Great one bedroom in Hyde Park

Good size for a 1br, had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and in the living room to lounge. If you're a very light sleeper you should bring earplugs because the dehumidifier cuts on and off at night. This place was everything we needed! We were even able to do some work from home because there are a few different tables there to set up at.

2nd time staying at this property.

Last time I stayed with a friend in the upstairs property (2 bedrooms). Must have been good since I just stayed in the lower level 1 bedroom. Everything was as expected. Clean, easy to get to, with clear and easy instructions in the booklet provided. It also happens to be mere minutes from my son's place. So it's all perfect!!. Also walking disctance to the U of T.

I stayed here for almost three months, and would stay here over and over again if I had the chance. It’s a perfect and safe location. It’s within walking distance of amazing food and coffee. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. Pete was super responsive with anything I needed. I miss this place already!

The apartment was impeccably clean and organized. Pete was a pleasure to communicate with and helped make the stay easy, relaxing and enjoyable. House is in a Quaint suburban neighborhood near several cafes, restaurants and walking distance to UT: Austin which was great and convenient. Highly recommend, and would definitely stay again if I come back to Austin!

The owner gives great details of the property, how to locate it, and expectations. This was in a good area for being near a lot and perfect for the two of us staying in Austin. The property was easy to tidy up for a quick check out. Great stay and highly recommended!

Everything you need, clean and simple, clearly explained.

Very conveniently located for a variety of Austin activities the property is immaculately clean and comfortable. The quiet side streets of the Hyde Park area are appealing and feel very safe lined with mature trees and foliage and well-kept traditional homes. Decor and furnishings are minimalist and practical. Clutter is avoided while anything needed by one or two guests is there, for example extra bedding and towels. Manager Pete Gilcrease provides clear printed information and instructions in looseleaf neatly presented format with offer of additional information or explanation via phone, text, or email to which he rapidly responds in a helpful manner.

Awesome location!

The location of the place is wonderful! We came to Austin to look around for a possible move. It is close enough to downtown for the tourist thing and far enough away. There was a book provided that was extremely useful, The restaurant recommendations were spot on, we tried 3 of them.

This small one bedroom apartment is clean, cozy and comfortable, with everything you need for your stay. We were about a 40 minute walk to UT or downtown - or a 20 minute drive, depending on traffic. The nearby bakery was a super side benefit. Pete was responsive.

Great place, Great value

This place is Hyde Park is ideal. Great place, great location, great value. Comfortable and inviting. Pete, the owner was readily available if we needed anything. Having stayed in Austin may times, often for extended stays, this is one of the best my wife and I have ever used. Pete is great to deal with, very fair and honest.

Fantastic Property Close to Everything

My daughter stayed here for several weeks while she was working as a summer intern. The property is exactly as described. It is in a awesome part of town close to just about everything. Pete was fantastic, responded quickly if we had questions or needed anything. I would highly recommend staying here. My family will definitely look to stay at one of Pete's properties anytime we visit Austin.

We love this little casita!

We love this little house. The location is perfect -- withing walking distance of our favorite coffee and cheese shops. In addition, the neighborhood is lovely. The house is just the right size for the two of us. It's private and well appointed. We especially like having morning coffee on the patio. This is our second stay, and we'll stay here again and again.
