We are extremely disappointed by this review, as it does not accurately reflect what occurred during this stay and contains numerous incorrect statements. Our home was professionally cleaned and fully prepared prior to arrival. We have time-stamped photos documenting the condition of the property immediately before check-in. As a courtesy, we also stocked the kitchen with food items and left flowers and chocolates to welcome the guests — a gesture many previous guests have sincerely appreciated. During this stay, there were multiple violations of our clearly stated house rules, including: • Exceeding the number of registered guests • Hosting a party (strictly prohibited) • Smoking inside and directly outside the property (non-smoking home) • Bringing multiple pets without approval • Leaving the property in an excessively unclean condition • Making unauthorized in-game purchases on our PlayStation • Removing items from the home We reached out shortly after check-in to ensure everything was satisfactory and did not receive a response. We were later contacted through customer service after a refund request was submitted. To clarify several claims made in the review: • This is our personal home that we share as a short-term rental, which is clearly disclosed in the listing. Preventative pest control measures are standard practice in any well-maintained property and do not indicate an issue. • The kitchen and storage areas are stocked for guest convenience. Items are neatly organized and available for optional use. • The yard, BBQ, appliances, and furnishings were clean and functional prior to arrival (documented), keeping in mind this was a winter stay. • The beds and layout are accurately represented in the listing photos and description. VRBO reviewed the information from both parties. While they issued a one-night courtesy refund, this was a discretionary customer service decision and not a determination of fault. We take pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming home and in providing good value to our guests. We are grateful that the many guests before and after this stay have expressed satisfaction with the property and their experience. We have AC and a Fan. And fixed the issue ASAP with guest. Its clutter free and we have professional cleaners!

The house is Not owner occupied! There is a separate private studio office suite on the ground floor. The large house has 2 separate entrances that. No one else besides the guests were ever there the entire time this guest was there. This is not an accurate review. The house is very clean also! With pictures as is!

All the sheets and towels were and always are clean prior to every guest's arrival and were in this case as well. There was and is always plenty of room in all the closets and cabinets for all the guests things 100%.

This is absolutely Not an accurate review at all! And a total misrepresentation!The Entire house is 100% for the guests staying at the listing! There is no one else in the home at all at any time! Guests also have their own private entrance! Also all bathrooms are private to just the guests! And the homes is professionally cleaned after and before each guests stays! Unfortunately the guest misunderstood many things about our home! But what then mentioned is Not the case for sure!

The yard was not set up from the winter. But we quickly came over and set it up for the guests. The house has been renovated and the kitchen is exactly has is in the pictures. The entire house is Professionally cleaned before and after the sch guest stay! There is plenty of closet and draw space in each bedroom for guests to store all there items!

The guest checked in with animal pets without notification, had a party in our home without our consent, and then made a mess and left without cleaning up and tried to blame it on us! I contacted her immediately and responded right away to her and VRBO to remedy the situation but she refused to respond or cooperate. The house was 100% professionally cleaned prior to the guest's arrival and there was no one at all in the entire house 100% of the time during their stay and has 100% private and secure entrances and exits. They had the whole house to themselves the enitre stay. We were in constant communication with the guest but she refused to respond. This guest's assertions are misleading and misinformation and is false. She was a very rude guest and would not recommend anyone allowing her to book there place.
