What a beautiful peaceful place, when we arrived there was kangaroos relaxing out the front. The wildlife around made you feel like you were the only people around. The house had everything we would need for our family. The Hot tub was perfect after a day at the snow. It also had such a beautiful view. We were so happy with our little escape.

Lovely house, snuggly warm with both reverse cycle air conditioner and log fire plus great location as great for touring around towns in the Snowy Valley and up to Mt Selwyn. Recommended for families with multiple DVD players and heaps of kids movies and a large lounge/kitchen area. We had a great time.

Love fire place

The house was very warm and cozy. We all enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace, and the kids especially loved the spa. A perfect spot for a family getaway.

Love the Spa

Beautiful quiet place with great access to water, hiking, mountains. And a spa for the end of the day.

We loved how quiet it was and it was suitably stocked with everything we needed. What we didn't like was that I had to clean the kitchen bench (it had sticky white streaks on it) and the back deck wasn't cleaned for our arrival. I also couldn't watch the tv in the main room as there was no power point to plug it into or extension cord. Other than that, the place was lovely.

Millers Retreat was a great location for our trip up to the Yarrongobilly Caves. As told by the owners, we took the food we needed which was great advice. However, you will need toilet paper too! It's the first place we've stayed around the entire world where there hasn't been a spare roll of toilet paper. It was 30c when we stayed and there is air conditioning in the main part of the house, but not in the bedrooms so they were a bit warm, even with the windows open (which had netting on which was great). Unfortunately for us, the hot tub just wasn't the experience we were hoping for either. I've never been in one so was really looking forward to it but not only were there 'bits' in the water and on the seats but when we put the jet on, the chemicals were so strong that it sent us all into fits of coughing and we didn't last more than 3 minutes in the tub. But it was a nice and quiet location and not having any Wifi was good for the family.

Had a wonderful stay. Spa was a great feature and the place was clean and tidy. Had a great time exploring the area around Talbingo and Yarrangobilly Caves.

What a great place to stay. Neat and clean with plenty of consumables. Towels weren't included with the linen but a quick enquiry phone call and some were hastily delivered with a smile. Thank you for having us :)

Talbingo house

Great location to use Selwyn Ski Resort, outside spa was a real treat. Plenty of fire wood provided for our stay. House was clean and user friendly. Would definitely stay here again with my family!

Spacious, great views, lots of dvds to watch.. hot tub!!! Mountain views.. peacock and kangaroo's wandering up the the back door??? Cool!

Perfect quiet town cottage

We loved our time in Talbingo. Our family loved the fireplace, spa and board games. It was a really lovely cottage to stay in and suited us perfectly.

Beautiful place to relax

This little house is cozy and the big verandahs make it work brilliantly as a holiday house. The spa is perfect for relaxing after a bush walk.
