We were a little upset by the cleanliness of the house. There was black mold growing in several areas of the house. Beautiful view but the house needs some updating.

Beautiful location, view, large bright and cosy common space. We enjoyed the large table in the room downstairs, the TV and sofas and above all the porch/balcony seating. Two comfortable and fully functional bathrooms. Two of the three bedrooms face toward the bay with large windows. The third bedroom is much smaller and darker, not as clean, strangely crumped by both a full size bed and a large bunk bed.All three beds are exceedingly soft. Overall perfect for three friends on a short writing retreat. Thank you Bryn and John.

Beautiful location

Our favorite part about our stay at this location was being able to look out the many sliding door windows to see the ocean view. It was a very relaxing place to stay.

The location is fantastic and would work perfectly for a family or group of friends - and with some modest updates/repairs would be a 5 star experience. There are quite a few things that could be improved. All appliances should be thoroughly cleaned and in good working order without tape holding parts together. This was not the case. Many lights didn't work. Nor did the fireplace, dishwasher, fans, etc. There was dust and mold visible in several areas. Again, these things could easily be addressed, and the place would be spectacular.

If you’re looking for an authentic Maine experience, this is an AMAZING gem in the middle of a historic fishing village. Everyone in the neighborhood was so friendly. We went fishing with the captain who runs a fishing company just down the front steps of our home. Nearby Bath was the sweetest little town. We loved this peaceful place!

Beautiful house and location!

My wife and I recently stayed a long weekend in West Point. The house is beautiful and extremely comfortable. It's very light and airy inside, just really nice. The views and location can't be beat! The owner, John, was great to interact with. Thanks for having us!
