Rock out at The Rock House, an unforgettable Rock-n-Roll themed cabin on 4 acres in Red River Gorge, KY! This LUX 4BR cabin close to it all sleeps 8, featuring 2.5 baths, a Speakeasy Bar, Karaoke, hot tub, and jacuzzi bathtub. Perfect for family getaways, bachelorette parties, and much more. Relax by the outdoor fire, read your favorite book on the covered porch, or walk the hiking trail to the waterfall. Enjoy privacy while still being close to all RRG has to offer. Don`t wait, book today!

- Amenities include a fully-equipped kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, fireplace, gas grill, WiFi, hot tub, SmartTvs, washer/dryer, fire pit, and a covered porch with mountain views!
- Bedroom 1: Queen Bed | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed | Bedroom 3: Queen Bed | Bedroom 4: Queen Bed

- Fresh linens and towels. We also include essential starter packs to make your stay easier! Starter packs include: 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 rolls of paper towels, 3 shampoos and conditioners, 3 dishwasher pods, 3 laundry pods, 3 trash bags, and 1 sponge. Firewood not provided, please purchase locally!
- Wooded Red River Gorge location - Close to hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lines, sight-seeing, restaurants, and much more.

Tar Ridge is close to Muir Valley Nature Preserve, Red Point BBQ, Sky Bridge Station and Exit 40 off the Bluegrass Parkway. Fantastic location, and close to all Red River Gorge has to offer.

No refunds are permitted due to weather. No exceptions. Winter weather (snow/ice) and flooding can occur in the area. You should be given the option to add Trip Insurance at booking check-out.

Please be aware that no refunds are permitted for cancellations on holiday rates, which includes but is not limited to, New Year`s, Valentine`s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Cabin was very nice, clean nicely decorated with maybe exception of Full size Jean Simmons looking over your bed. Great seating areas, very comfortable. Having the decoration theme “rock and roll” maybe the ability to play vintage music would be nice. Enjoyed the stay and we liked the two red chairs in the woods.

Great location, good vibes, cool decor and overall a fun house to stay in. Close to all outdoor attractions. Good communication and response when informing of issues including dirty glasses in the cupboards, dirty table on deck and broken chairs at the poker table. Previous guests probably had a great time but left glasses and outdoor table dirty/sticky. They supply a good start for kitchen and bathroom supplies but we had to buy a couple extra kitchen towels because there was only one. We also bought some beach towels to sit on outside because the patio cushions looked like they had been on tour. Recommend for families with teens especially if into outdoors and music.

Great house! Cozier than what the pictures show! Great theme to the house! Friendly neighbors. Could use more towels/ dishwashing detergent etc. a short drive to entertainment/ activities to do!

Rock and Roll home

We were in the area for a kayaking trip that unfortunately got canceled due to all the rain. However, we found we were in a very convenient location to do a lot of hiking and enjoy the beautiful mountains in KY. The Rock house was a fun and convenient place to stay. The managing company was easy to work with and very thorough with check in and check out steps and directions to the house. Beautiful site!

Spring break getaway

We had a great time at The Rock House! One of the most unique places we have ever stayed! Karaoke was a huge hit!! Beds were comfortable, and kitchen had most everything we needed. Only thing we couldn’t find were measuring cups. The hammock chairs were also a big hit. Our only regret is that we didn’t book more days.

Perfect getaway

The property was updated and so cool! We used the fire pit, hot tub and karaoke. The layout is a little different with two bedrooms upstairs and two down, but it worked out perfect for our crew. It’s a bit of a windy road to get into town, but the house was on a very peaceful quiet street with beautiful scenery

Rock n roll

It was beautiful and clean. We loved the pit and the hiking trail down to the falls. There was so much to do and we enjoyed the hot tub - especially after hiking. They did come and weed eat and mow in the morning the first day we were there waking everone one up - maybe that could be sceduled at a time later or when not in use.

Amazing at first glance. Then very disappointed. First night I found a snake in my room, a baby, under the cow hide. Second night, the jets did not work in the hot tub, tried to sit outside but ants were bad on one porch and cushions were soaking wet on other porch. Last night, when we ran the upstairs bathroom shower it leaked in the basement. Very disappointed.

Gorgeous, unique, and fun with lots of extras!

We enjoyed our stay at Rock House very much! The cabin was secluded, extremely clean, well stocked, and spacious. There were a lot of extras you don't find in all rentals, they paid great attention to the details to ensure our stay was amazing. The decor is unique, tasteful, and very fun. The karaoke machine is a blast and the owner kindly sent us a how to video. We loved singing the night away! Downstairs is a bar/speak easy area complete with games, a poker table, and TV. The property has a nice hiking trail down to a gorgeous waterfall where there is a hammock, chairs, and fire pit to enjoy the view. The hot tub is large and was the perfect temperature. The fire pit area is landscaped nicely with comfy chairs and plenty of space. We did not have to leave the property our whole stay-it was truly a getaway! Check in/out was super simple and the owner was very responsive to all of our questions. You will not regret your stay!
