Enjoyed our Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. Everything we needed was provided, dishes, washer & dryer, beach chairs, a carriage, and an umbrella, beach towels, all of which were very useful. The queen bed in the bedroom was comfortable, and the sofa bed was as well.Everything was conveniently close by, and we had the chance to explore several different beaches during our stay. The gated community and access to the pool were also big pluses that added to our overall experience. We would love to stay in this condo in the future!

Nice Condo and location

We had a positive experience at the Avalon Condo.The furniture was comfortable including the bed. Large walk in closet space. Being on the first floor was convienient however the space doesn't get much light because of the configuration of the unit.The Avalon complex is very nice with a great pool area and fitness room. Location is good as well .

When we first got there my husband noticed the toilet leaking from the tank. Shut off valve didn’t work right to shut off water. Called Nicolas and he was very helpful. He set up for the handyman and building mgr to come the next day. Husband took a shower that night and the water was up to his ankles. Drain was clogged. Next day when handyman came he pulled out a lot of hair and used draino. Problem solved. Made coffee in the Keurig and it tasted horrible. I found vinegar in a cabinet from 2019 and cleaned the machine. My husband wouldn’t drink coffee from it so we bought a coffee maker. Bed and sofa very saggy. I woke up every morning with a backache and had to take pain pills. Half way through our stay I had to go for a massage. You have no control of thermostat. It is set on 24c which is 75.2f. If you are looking for a gym it was closed for repairs. The two weeks we were there it was not being worked on. This is an older condo development and the unit was mostly original except for new flooring and bathroom vanity. Nice big walk in closet. It’s dark but we knew that from the picture. New curtains would help. Location was EXCELLENT to Clearwater Beach, about 3 miles. Complex was nice. Pool area is nice. The biggest negative for us was that a family of 4 was above us and it sounded like a herd of elephant stomping on the floor. Woke up and went to bed with the noise. We were here 2 weeks and had 3 peaceful days when the left. Would I stay in this unit again NO
