It was absolutely amazing.The place is huge, spotless, and has so many rooms and studios. The pool was clean, big, and deep, and the privacy was perfect,which was the most important thing for us girls. The only thing I would’ve loved is some lighting around the pool at night so we could swim after dark.

Stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate a birthday

Property was lovely, I booked it to celebrate my birthday and it definitely exceeded expectations - the views were stunning, pool was great & the house was beautiful and spacious. All the guests loved it and had a lovely time. Check in and check out was an easy process and the owners were great at keeping in contact throughout the process of booking and check in. Thanks so much to the owners Bill and Cher! I highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful weekend in Galston

A group of house had a wonderful weekend in Galston. This house was perfect for the 8 of house and less than an hour drive from home. We made the most of the open fire in the living room and thoroughly enjoyed all of our time spent here. Thank you for having us.

Short getaway

Everyone loved the beautiful tranquil bush setting. The pool was lovely. Unfortunately the dishwasher dirty so we didn’t use it and all the food we cooked tasted like soap for the first 3 meals despite handwashing and rinsing everything we used first. The rooms in the main house were lovely but the 2 self contained suites downstairs smelt extremely damp and mouldy.

A memorable event

The Castle was a perfect property for my daughters wedding preparation. The family plus bridesmaids had a lovely evening together and were able to use all the space for "hair and makeup" the next day. The bridal party had all their portraits done at The Castle, using the grounds, majestic steps and rooms filled with natural light and character. I was so pleased to have found this property. It did not disappoint.

What a Great Weekend!

The property was perfect for us for a family reunion. We were a group of six adults and six children ranging from three to seventeen. The mix of accommodation in the house worked beautifully. The house was large with plenty of room for all to have their own space when needed. We would love to stay here in the summer when we could make use of the pool. We would definitely stay here again, the property was clean and well presented, communication with Bill, the host, was easy. We appreciated the early check in and late check out.

Great ‘castle’ experience

The property truly lived up to its name, "Castle." I had 12 people to accommodate, and we wanted to ensure both privacy and comfort while maintaining a sense of community. This property provided everything we needed! The owner gave us a tour of the place beforehand and offered some flexibility, which was wonderful. The king beds are more akin to queen beds or large king singles, making them suitable for couples rather than two single adults. However, there is a folding bed and an extra mattress available for those who prefer to sleep separately, as my guests did.Although some rooms did not have air conditioning, the owner's information was accurate— the rooms with air conditioning cooled down the entire house, keeping us comfortable. Thank you for providing such a gorgeous house for my overseas visitors!

Galston Gorge
is a valley located in the Berowra Valley Regional Park in Sydney, Australia. It separates Galston from Hornsby Heights, and is intersected by Galston Road and the heritage-listed Tunks Creek Bridge at the foot of the valley. Adjacent to Tunks Creek Bridge, there is a second concrete bridge that crosses Berowra Creek. The gorge itself contains many walking tracks, waterfalls and a variety of Australian flora, and is an area frequented by hikers, cyclists and rock climbers.
Fagan Park
has been described as "the crown jewel of Hornsby Shire’s parks." The park covers 55 hectares of undulating land and includes a range of activities. The Gardens of Many Nations is quite impressive with gardens from Japan, China, South America, North America and a few more. You can visit a homestead and museum all in its original condition.

Berowra Waters
Berowra Waters is a unique location tucked deep in the Berowra Creek valley and surrounded by Muogamarra Nature Reserve. Berowra Waters is ideally situated for easy boating access to many of Sydney's waterways, including Berowra Creek, Pittwater, Cowan Creek and the Hawkesbury, which are all nearby.
