We never received a check-in email instructions from the owner so as soon we arrived at the airport at Turks and Caicos, we called him. At that point he didn’t have any idea of us as renters. Once we got to the property the host who lives at the same location but in a different apartment told us that the apartment that we rented was not available because it was already rented and placed us in a “better apartment.” There were some amenities like the pool and balcony that were listed on this property but it was impossible to enjoy, since the host and his family used them constantly with absolutely no consideration for the renters. The apartment was lacking of a lot things for example hot water, hair dryer, etc and it was full of roaches. Now the worse thing is that on our third day out of 5, we were in a full day tour so when we came back, all of our belongings were moved from one apartment to another without our consent. At that moment we didn’t feel safe, we felt that our rights were violated and had a lot of anxiety with this whole situation. The new apartment we were moved to had a bunch of stinky dirty clothes and the place stunk. When we arrived home and we unpacked we realized we were missing things. This is unacceptable, places like this should be not be allowed to be in rental websites. Safe yourself a headache and don’t rent from this place.

On ne ma pas reçu. Le propriétaire m'a fait savoir que vous ne les avez pas charger. Donc, j,' ai pas fait le tchekin. Heureusement j' ai contacté un ami pour pouvoir m'heberger.

Beautiful by Nature

The property is out of the tourist area but the whole island is 17 miles so easy to get wherever you're going if you have rental car. Bedroom has tv with cable and window air conditioner. No tv in living room and has ceiling fan. Spacious place, full kitchen, lovely deck to have morning coffee. Property manager was resposive and accomodating.
