Your own private oasis with a Kiwiana twist awaits right in the heart of Pohara – just two minutes walk from the beach. Welcome to Poharadise! This sun-drenched, four-bedroom classic 1960’s Kiwi bach offers everything you need to keep the whole family happy. You can even bring your pets along. Enjoy summer evenings firing up the BBQ on one of the two spacious decks, whilst the kids play on the flat sheltered, fully fenced lawn. Post dinner, challenge your group in a game of table tennis or darts in the garage. Stay entertained and connected with the books, board games, WiFi, TV (with Freeview and Chromecast) or take the available kayaks and paddle-board down to Pohara Beach for a paddle! On a winter escape, the wood burner will keep you toasty and warm. With plenty of parking – even for the boat – Pohara is the perfect base to explore Golden Bay. Ligar Bay, Tata Beach and Takaka are all within 10 minutes drive and the start of the Abel Tasman is nearby. Come and enjoy our slice of Poharadise!

A warm, comfortable home with everything you need for a home away from home. Easy walking distance to Molly B’s for an evening meal and well located for all Golden Bay activities. Would recommend a stay at this holiday home.

Host was very helpful but not intrusive, the bach had everything you need, includign barbecue, but still felt like a bach, it's near the sea, and near cafes and the store. Also has grand view out to the mountains.

Hi Kelly. Glad you enjoyed your stay and thanks for the feedback re the front gate. This has never been a problem for our dog (although she is quite big 🙂) but we have filled the space to eliminate the gap so this won’t be a problem in the future. Front and back decks and back yard now all fully secure. Thanks, Grant & Lara

Wonderful stay

My parents, Aunt, cousin, myself and our dog all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Great place in a great location! Very happy with the property our dog really enjoyed looking around it. We would definitely love to stay again.

Great location 200 metres from the beach. The house is warm and inviting and is fully equipped for an enjoyable stay. We particularly enjoyed the fully fenced garden and garage equipped with recreational equipment.

Poharadise - fabulous accommodation for a weekend away

Great location with the beach over the road, Takaka 10 mins away plus all the adventures the Golden Bay has to offer. Classic kiwiana style holiday home, sunny and well heated with all the bells and whistles, dog friendly with a big yard a huge plus. Had a fantastic couple of night's stay, would definitely return.
