Welcome to our character-filled 90s home, freshly renovated for modern comfort while keeping its fun, retro charm! Perfect for families, friend groups, or anyone young at heart, this home is packed with features to make your stay unforgettable.



Downstairs: King bedroom with ensuite



Upstairs:

1 bedroom with a queen bed + floor mattress

1 bedroom with two singles (one is a pull-out)



Extra options include:

1 fold-out single bed (can be placed anywhere)

1 fold-out single in the games room (best avoided during winter)

The home features a heat pump, individual heaters in each bedroom, extra blankets, and electric blankets for chilly nights.



Outdoor Living: Unwind in the 4-person hot tub and enjoy the private, relaxing outdoor space—perfect for making the most of your stay.

Strict noise policy: Quiet hours after 10 PM to respect our lovely neighbors with small children—please keep this in mind before booking.

Living in St. Albans means being surrounded by character, convenience, and culture. This vibrant suburb offers a great mix of trendy cafes, diverse restaurants, and unique shops, blending vintage charm with modern flair.



Just minutes away is the iconic Hagley Park—Christchurch’s largest green space—ideal for jogging, cycling, picnics, and enjoying the outdoors. You'll also have access to local recreational facilities, including sports fields, gyms, and swimming pools, making St. Albans the perfect base for both relaxation and activity.



Getting Around:

Bus stops on Springfield 1 minute away from the property.

You’ll receive a trusted welcome link after booking with all property details, access codes, Wi-Fi, and easy instructions for your stay. Please take a moment to complete it — it helps us prepare everything for your arrival.



Portacot and high chair are available upon request for a small fee of $25.



Seasonal Bed Availability:

The extra fold-out bed in the games room is not available during Winter and Autumn due to temperature and comfort considerations.



Parking:

The property is located on a shared driveway. You are provided with 2 dedicated parking spots.

Please do not bring more than 2 vehicles

Do not block or obstruct the driveway at any time



Neighbourhood Respect:

We ask all guests to be considerate of our neighbours. This is a family-friendly area, so please keep noise to a minimum—especially during evenings and strictly after 10 PM.



★ SAFETY DEPOSIT OR DAMAGE WAIVER REQUIRED ★



We understand that accidents can happen. To help protect the space and ensure a worry-free stay, all reservations require either a damage waiver or a safety deposit.



You can choose the option that works best for you: a non-refundable damage waiver ranging from $39 up to $79, which covers accidental damage and normal wear and tear (no deductible) or a refundable safety deposit of $450, which will be returned after checkout as long as no damage is found and all house rules are followed.



If you've already purchased Damage Protection Insurance through a third-party provider, feel free to share your policy with us-we're happy to

review it and we may consider waving the requirement based on your coverage.



Please note: The damage waiver does not cover damage caused by house rule violations.



🔑 Only one property access key/fob is provided as standard. Additional key/fob must be requested before arrival. A replacement fee of NZD $250 applies for each lost key or fob.
