Welcome to your new favorite vacation home on Fripp Island! This newly renovated 4-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom gem offers the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Enjoy breathtaking sunset views from the spacious rear deck off the main living room, or relax on the screened porch accessible from the first-floor bedrooms. Professionally decorated in 2024, the house has a beach theme with memorabilia from many of the great movies that were filmed on and around Fripp Island; these include Forest Gump, The Prince of Tides, The Big Chill, and The Legend of Bagger Vance.



Inside, you'll find a brand new kitchen equipped with modern appliances, new flooring throughout, and a convenient washer and dryer. The first floor 3 bedrooms are generous in size and are beautifully decorated. The rear bedrooms share access to a screened porch with wonderful views of the marsh. The front Queen bedroom has access to a front deck seating area with views of the golf course. I've been going to Fripp since 2004. We usually stay by the Cabana club or on Bonito or Davis Love. We are a family of 5, three boys. Not my first time on the island. This is a tricky review. When we arrived, the garage area was strewn with trash, insulation was falling from the garage ceiling, the HVAC filters were months overdue for a change, and the outdoor grill was nearly unapproachable due to the smell of rancid grease. The outdoor porches were also fairly filthy, so much so our ten year old commented and asked why they were so dirty. We notified management who cleaned up, but it was a very bad first impression for 6k a week. The house is in reasonable shape, largely helped by a recent remodel that likely should have remodeled more than it did. Will I stay here again? Not if other options are available, but Yes. Beds are reasonably comfortable. HVAC was working and kept the house comfortable. Hot water was adequate.Living room and bedroom TVs all worked and had all the apps you need.Checkin was easy. Property management was responsive. Location is great and off the main "cruising lanes". Short golf cart ride to the beach. Kitchen is very well stocked. The complementary bicycles were a nice treat, but several of them were damaged and left in a pile in the garage. We still had 3 to use.

The location was ideal for us as we were multiple families staying together for a golf tournament. The kitchen was well equipped, except not enough kitchen towels. We had to contact the property management group to come back to do additional cleaning of the outdoor dining area as it was quite dirty. The gas grill was in very poor and dirty condition and frankly needs replaced.Also, it quickly became a parent that there was no hot water our first evening. After doing some of our own troubleshooting, we discovered the breaker to the hot water heater was off. There is also an issue with raccoons in the evening as wellDespite the above issues, beds were comfortable. Plenty of closet space with hangers. Check in and out was very easy,Space itself seemed smaller than we expected. .

This house has beautiful sunset views and is located on a quiet street. It has an open floor plan and is very comfortable for big families. The only draw back was that the bikes were in poor condition.

Nice location to go to Marina, center of island and cabana club. Well stocked kitchen. Great communication. Nice that it comes with 2 cards and a golf cart. Lots of steps (fyi) and could use some updates but clean. Very friendly owner. We have stayed here twice and would again.

Nice pet friendly house.

Great stay and enjoyed bringing our dogs. The golf cart was wonderful having as was having some bicycles to take down to the beach access. We grilled almost every night. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Living area is on the 3rd floor so makes a lot of trips up and down if anyone has mobility issues but makes for a nice view out the back of the house to see the marsh area.

Perfect vacation with our adult children.

This place feels like it’s brand new. We really enjoyed taking the bikes out every day, and the golf cart was a favorite! We used the grill a lot and ate all our meals at the property. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need for cooking. My daughter and her fiancé spent a lot of alone time on the screened in porch. My husband loves watching the sun set and the main balcony was perfect for that. We had a beautiful view of the marsh. Beautifully decorated and very clean.

The property needs a lot of upkeep - paint and repairs would help a lot. The kitchen is well-stocked with equipment, if you enjoy cooking, the beds are comfortable, and the linens are in good shape. It is a good place to touchdown after very busy days. The owner is very nice. My grandson left some expensive equipment in the unit and the owner sent it to us right away, at his expense. It was very generous.

Great-But . . .

Great location Great house -But it just needed vegetation cut back so you could get around the house on the outside. Inside needed a handyman to tighten up things and the screened porch off the bedroom couldn’t be used . Too dirty . Overall nice with a little fine tuning needed .

Teresa, I'm very sorry the house wasn't clean. We promise to rectify this situation immediately. I have also called a repaiman for the microwave which I didn't know was having issues. It will be fixed or replaced immediately. We do our best to provide guests with a high quality Fripp home at an affordable price. If you decide to return to Fripp, please contact me and I'll make sure you are more than satisfied with the stay. Fripp Island Vacation

We had a wonderful time at this house. Nicely decorated. The golfcart was a hit, but the battery is worn out, so we had to charge the golfcart more than we could ride it. The bikes at the house were very dissappointing. Only 1 bike worked for a while. But there are rental bikes on the island. Kitchen supplies are ok (...), good seating for only 6 people. Small bathrooms though.... Wonderful Island with a lot of wildlife!!! It wasn't the perfect house, but it was still a great house for a week of rested vacation!!!

Just okay

The house looks as pictured but the beds, linens, bathrooms and kitchen weren’t very nice. The house had very minimal bedding so no extra blankets or bedding and we had a rainy cool couple of days and could have used a few extras. Also the kitchen was very difficult to prepare food in because there was only a couple of pots and pans and they were older and very used looking. Only 2 baking dishes and just seemed to be stocked from leftovers from an old kitchen. The bathrooms were functional but very dated. Overall it was fine for a quick weekend but I wouldn’t book again.

We work hard to deliver a five star experience to all of our guests and would have worked promptly and efficiently to fix these items if we were told while you were staying with us.
