Estrold's Resort- Bayview Cabin

A large 3 bedroom vacation home directly on the lake shore. A 15’ x 24’ living room features a red brick wood burning fireplace, knotty pine interior, and two large picture windows overlooking the lake.

The three large bedrooms include 4 queen sized bed and 1 twin sized bed. This home has 2 full baths.

The kitchen is spacious with a pass through counter to the dining room. A service entry is attached to the home and works well for storage of equipment and supplies.

A private campfire pit behind the home is perfect for cozy evening campfires with friends and family. Large private pier with bench seating for the exclusive use of Bayview guests. RESERVE THIS COZY CABIN AT STEPAWAY VACATION RENTALS!

Maximum number of guests allowed to use this unit is 9.

A Week at the Bayview

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although we were surrounded by a huge family group that occupied 5 other cabins and loved to play horseshoes right next to our bedroom window, our stay was very enjoyable and we were very busy enjoying the scenery and amenities throughout the week. We were impressed with the daily garbage pickup and the grounds were well maintained.

50th Anniversary Celebration!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It hasn’t been every year, but every time we could get away we would stay in the Bayview Cottage. This year we were able to bring the family together and celebrate our golden anniversary together in the Northwoods in what we all consider our second home. We were blessed to have this time together in the same cottage and glad not much has changed. Beds were comfy, grounds were great, and more wonderful memories were made! Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was easy to make the cottage and pontoon reservations. Although the reservation statement had an arrival time of 3pm and checkout time of 9am I received an email shortly before my arrival stating that the check in time was 4pm and checkout time was 8am. As the weather was cold and rainy during the week I tried to make a fire in the fireplace which quickly filled the front room and kitchen with smoke and activated the smoke alarms. I had to find fans to clear out the smoke. The property manager was notified but never sent out anyone to check the draw of the flue. The damper was open and the flue was preheated but it didn’t stop the smoke from coming in. I had to pour water on the logs and throw them on the outside fire pit. The fishing was good.

Not what it once was

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not enough space to provide full details, see trip advisor for more.Hiccups after booking in April with one management provider to another. Not a welcoming experience, no firewood, towels, or key regardless of being told it would all be there and ready. Pier had been removed, as it was in disrepair, but that was a big reason we booked that home. Fuse blew and water pump went out, waited more then 2 hours and no one came. No tutorial on how to use the boat motor, which ran like ****. Kitchen teflon pots/pans all scratched and medically dangerous to use, bedding is ripped and sweat stained, towels rough and frayed. One tub did not drain leaving you standing ankle deep in dirt. See trip advisor for pictures.
