Clearview Vista was a Clear Favourite
We stayed for a week in this amazing property over New Year. We loved the luxurious house with views out over stunning views over Wanaka to the mountains from the living areas and the master bedroom. It is a pleasant walk down into Wanaka (about 40 minutes) and Sticky Forest was on the doorstep for great mountain biking ( we would recommend hiring electric bikes which can be dropped off the house ). It was not far to the Clutha River where we enjoyed an evening swim.The house was pristine and provided for all our needs. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the separate kitchenette upstairs allowing us to enjoy coffee in bed looking over the view whilst not disturbing those sleeping downstairs. We made the most of the location for activities on the lake and river, walking up Roy’s Peak and nipping over to Queenstown for white water rafting and the canyon swing on the Shotover river. The house is also very handy for the skydiving base at Wanaka and local wine tasting tours, so we were very busy during the day but loved being back for summer evenings at the house for a BBQ looking out over the views.We loved the large tv – ideal for watching Lord of the Rings in the evenings!We were very well looked after by our host who called in after our arrival and kept in touch during the week. We would recommend this house and would definitely go back if we return to NZ.
