FINISH 2019 IN BEAUTY

Charming historic apartment in fantastic location, with gorgeous ocean views. The fans and ocean breeze from the windows helped keep us cool during the heatwave (no AC). Just a minute walk to the ocean!

Amazing place, photos don’t do it justice! Incredible sunset / sunrise seaviews in the best location in Biarritz, wall-to-wall with hotel Palais. Beach access is literally 50m, walk from your home bear feet and the beach is the less crowded part than central part of Grande plage. The apartment building is one of those old castle monumental building that never gets hot. Bed sheets and pillows are good quality, which is rare in France. Bedrooms are spacious and nice and the living room is huge with a large dining table and kitchen very well organized. We really enjoyed cooking dinners and eating at home, watching the sunset. (We are regulars to highest end hotels, so this comparison is against very strict quality standards - the quality is very very good). A rare place in Biarritz that embodies apartment quality, location and views.

Stay in Biarritz

The apartment was very well looked after and clean. We couldn't have asked for a better location. Looking out of the front windows we had a sea view and from the bedroom at the side we had a view of the lighthouse. Unfortunately, due to renovations taking place in an apartment below we had no water for a couple of hours one day and drilling and a lot of dust on two other occasions. But despite this, I would recommend this apartment as a place to stay.

Great location

Nice size property. Lovely view from lounge and a couple of the bedrooms. Biarritz is beautiful and the location of the apartment is ideal within very easy reach of the beautiful beach and amenities We found it difficult to find the right door to access the apartment on arrival, which was a bit annoying, but the owners were on hand to help guide us eventually. We found the apartment was good for a weekend, but the bed in the main bedroom was very squeaky and the bathrooms were all very tired and in need of refurbishment. Lots of hot water though for showering after a busy day and a comfy sofa for relaxing. lovely high ceilings. We found the road noise disruptive but think that this is something that most central properties in biarritz would experience. We would have preferred to communicate with the owners in english, but all communication was in French so was slightly difficult. We found someones drivers license between the bedsheet and mattress of one of the beds we slept in so found this a bit odd. Cleaning fees and linen fees are very high, we felt Overall, a great sized apartment, in need of a bit of TLC in places, in a great location.

wonderfull apartment

The beauty and quality of this place was topped only by the kindness of the hosts: Marie Laure and Jean Sébastien were very helpful and responsive and the house is exactly as it's shown in the pictures: perfect spaces, perfect location nearby the Grand Plage, wireless perfectly working and so on. Something to suggest to your best friend!
