Wake up to serene water views from your bedroom, then take the kayaks out for a spin around Little Sunapee Lake or go for a swim off the private dock. Great Stay with a fabulous view.

Good location and accommodating owner. Views of the lake are stunning and close proximity to hiking trails. Well kept and clean property with plenty of natural light. All listed amenities were available. Plenty of room to spread out. Great for extended families. Loved the large living room with propane fireplace and TV. Overall clean and comfortable in a quiet area with a great view.

The house, deck and proximity to the lake were everything we hoped for. We had an excellent vacation. Sunrise and moonrise were beautiful over the lake. My favorite thing about his house was the two (really three if you count the office) living spaces. The TV watchers among us could do so with the door shut, blocking out the sound from the rest of the house, while we chatted peacefully in the living room. Gorgeous lake, lots of hiking opportunities and restaurants that met our price point and taste. The Philbrick-Cricenti Bog, minutes from the house, was an easy walk and ever-so-beautiful. Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy nature. I would recommend this house and this town to anyone seeking a serene, peaceful get-away with the amenities that you expect from a lovely rental.

My family of 5 stayed here this July. The house is beautiful and very spacious. We easily could have had another family stay with us and had plenty of room. The house was well very stocked and all that was needed to bring was food and clothes. Kids had a great time on kayaks, floats and paddle boards. The lake is clean and we had a great time fishing. If visiting in July or August , stop in at Bartletts blueberry farm. Great hiking in the area and we also made the short trip over to Woodstock, Quechee Gorge. Such a relaxing trip.

A Super Stay

This home offers a perfect place for a small family reunion. With beautiful lake views, multiple gathering areas and bedrooms, and a well-stocked kitchen - we were happy and comfortable for 5 mostly cloudy and rainy days.

Serene Getaway

Our stay here was just perfect. The house is secluded and quiet, yet also minutes from the highway. There’s a cute Main Street area nearby with good restaurants and cute thrift shops. We spent our days exploring with the provided kayaks. Roberta was a gracious host. She quickly responded when I realized I left some articles behind and gladly shipped them back to me.

There are moments that will remain in your memory for a long time. And my son and I had one at this place. Early morning. Water as smooth as glass. A quiet, peaceful kayak on the water. It was perfect. We used the house as a staging point for moving our daughter into college which was in Hanover; a nice retreat from the chaos of campus. The house is quaint in all the right ways. Plenty of nooks and spaces to read, work, or think, but also lots of community space as well. The office with its desk was perfect for me to get some work done. We enjoyed viewing the stars out in the hot tub. The house is conveniently located about five minutes from an excellent supermarket and some nice, causal restaurants down the road. Private but not isolated. Swimming, kayaking, lounging on the deck. Our host was excellent with information. We plan on returning soon.

Excellent!

The house and property were excellent. The house is spacious and well equipped. The lake is clean, a little shallow near the house but still great to swim in. The hot tub was a great addition. We enjoyed our time!

Exceeded Expectations

We had such a wonderful stay. The house was spacious and comfortable for our party of 8. The morning sunrises were absolutely gorgeous. We had so much fun kayaking and swimming, and we loved the provided floaties. We would highly recommend staying here.

An amazing home

Wow. Dennis' home on Little Sunapee Lake is truly incredible--it really has it all. The house itself is perfection and the stunning views of the water are even better. We could not get enough of them. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. Dennis even very quickly brought a back up propane tank when we realized the grill's gas was out. For extra amenities there's water access, kayaks, a paddle board, fire pit, hammock, hot tub, and a gorgeous sprawling yard. Truly the perfect place for a family getaway. Dennis even left a high chair and pack and plays for our 15 month old, which was super convenient. If you want to venture out, it's a very short drive (few minutes) to New London downtown, which is lovely, and tons of walking trails within 10 minutes drive. We are already talking about booking again. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful lakeside retreat with us, Dennis!!

Perfect lake getaway

This home was perfect for our family and right on the lake!! There’s a shallow area where our young grandkids could play and lots of blow up toys and kayaks to enjoy the lake! The location is wonderful and close to town… we loved it!! We will definitely stay here again sometime soon!!😊

Beautiful house and location

The pictures don't do this property justice. Situated on a prime 3 acres on Little Lake Sunapee, the house offered so much privacy and quiet. And it's only a few short minutes to the center of New London with all its stores and restaurants. We made great use of the paddleboard and kayaks (the lake is quiet and often it was just us and the loons!). The hot tub on the property seemed new and was such a bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect ski retreat

Dennis has a wonderful house. It was perfect for two families to share. A separate living area for the kids to hang out worked wonderfully. The views of the lake are amazing and we loved watching the ice fishing. Dennis was responsive to any question we had and even brought us homemade jam. We look forward to returning to this gem!

Great family retreat

This was the second time we stayed at this amazing vacation home. Sitting on the oversized deck, looking out at the lake is the most relaxing experience. Our children and their families joined us. It is perfect for children. There is a gate on the deck so no fears of them falling down the stairs and the very gradual entry in the water is perfect for little ones. The home itself is so comfortable and close to area shopping and down town New London. Our grandchildren were in tears when they left not wanting to leave. We are all looking forward to next year at the lake house already.

Great Location

Our family loved this property. The house is right on Little Lake Sunapee and teh location can't be beat. The house itself is fabulous - very spacious, great kitchen and lovely deck. The owner, Dennis, was very accommodating. We loved this house and will stay here again!

Beautiful lakeside escape.

Rented this property for a couples weekend away. Stayed here with a group of old friends. The amenities were fantastic, pool table, hot tub, and enough beds for everyone. The proximity to New London and Sunapee was perfect. It was very easy to run to town for diner after a hike or other outdoor activity. A great place to get away.

Family friendly vacation home

Beautiful comfortable home. Great layout. Grandchildren could watch tv in great room while adults could enjoy conversation in living room. Best of all was the lake front. Stairs made for easy entrance into water which had a sandy bottom. Gradual entry was very child friendly. Owner great to work with and quickly responded to our messages. Loved our week at the “Lake House” and already looking forward to going back next summer.
