The Uxbridge Igloo on Pefferlaw Creek with Private Lake. Pet Friendly!
Take a mystical walk through the forest to your private getaway. Enjoy the sounds of a babbling brook and the beautiful hiking trails. If you time it right you can even skate or swim in the lake or pond.
There is also room for a pop up tent or 2 in the site if you'd like to bring extra guests. Just please select the correct number of people when booking.
The space
20 Acres of forest with over 1km of trails. 2 large ponds for skating and swimming and less than 15 minutes from Newmarket, Uxbridge and Mount Albert where you can enjoy wine and cider tasting, fine dining and local theater. Also, Uxbridge is known to be the trail capital of Canada so biking, hiking and other activities are plentiful.
You can also warm up on those cool nights with the sauna or try polar dipping. The hosts would be happy to assist you with the Polar Dipping experience if requested.

Naithan is from Northern Ontario and Maryam is from Iran. Having found this amazing place, we felt it selfish to keep to ourselves. We love to hear all the stories of our travelers, but completely understand if you'd like your privacy, so please let us know if you'd like our company. Otherwise, we will leave you in private.

Uxbridge is such a cozy town. The people are kind and there is lots to see and do if you choose to look.

Our private lag was man made over 50 years ago. The owner dug all the ponds and lakes in the area and added a special touch to this one, giving it a beautiful blue crystal clear spring fed water, which is now shared with all kinds of wildlife.
