Did not get the unit we were booked for as others were already using it. Unit we got was not to our standards. Roughly put together and very dated. Not a very functional kitchen or bathroom. Kitchen only had one plug for everything and bathroom didn't even have a plug. Shower was not nice. Last day woke up to no water which made things difficult to check out on time to catch our ferry. BBQ worked but not well. No source of shade at our unit.I will say that even though the beds were old they were comfortable enough. Sheets were nice but the bedspreads must have been 30 years old! We had a gas heater that didn't work so mornings were very chilly. When we were out for the day the unit was super hot and the windows don't open/close properly and let bugs in. There was an air conditioner but it had a hornets nest in it. My husband's allergic to bees. It felt at best just thrown together. Chipboard ceilings bad carpentry work and a shortage of electrical outlets for the unit. No fans for air flow. Floors even feel sloped in areas. We were vey disappointed overall with this unit and feel it really needs some serious updates and attention to details. I do want to say that our host, Ken was fantastic and attentive to our needs and was lovely to deal with. We were invited to use any veggies etc growing in the garden which was nice. No laundry on site. Had to drive to the national park to wash clothes. Definitely don't feel the price we paid was fair for what we got.
