Welcome to Oakhill Guest Suite, the perfect homebase for exploring the Cowichan Valley. A brand new and spacious basement suite that comfortably sleeps up to 6 people . Featuring two bedrooms, a sofa bed, bright full bathroom, full kitchen, washer and dryer in suite and private and self contained patio. Located in a brand new family neighborhood just minutes from the heart of town. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at our centrally located basement suite.

You will enter at the ground level and walk right into the open concept suite. The kitchen has a full size fridge, Keurig coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, cooking utensils and everything needed to cook for yourself. Coffee and tea is also supplied to make your mornings bright!

The living room has a comfy couch that doubles as a pull-out sofa bed to sleep extra guests. A desk and chair that can be used as a work station and of course a tv for some entertainment and relaxation after a long day of exploring the Cowichan Valley.

Both bedrooms comfortably sleep two and have ample closet space.

The bathroom is spacious and loaded with everything needed to make your trip convenient. You will find shampoo, conditioner, soap, towels and faceclothes.

Out the backdoor is where you will find the private and self contained patio. Designed comfortably to visit with your family, friends and loved ones or take some solo time while enjoying your coffee and a good book in the morning or a glass of wine at the end of your day.

This suite is really a complete package. It had absolutely everything and it felt like someone could live in it for a few weeks and have everything they need. It is the perfect size for a small family and even has a cute outdoor space. We loved it!

A wonderful, clean and quiet suite in Duncan. Comfortable beds, plenty of linens, full sized laundry machines, and a fully equipped kitchen. Check in was a breeze and communication with the owner was prompt and friendly. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!

Great location and perfect for cyclists. It clean and modern. We had one small issue and one phone git it resolved. Nice outdoor space to relaxe it.

Check-in was seamless. The place was modern, bright, quiet and clean. Kitchen is fully stocked and nice to have to washer and dryer. Excellent communication.

Almost 5 stars!

Check-in process was easy. Would stay here again if a few minor issues were addressed. Would not recommend if you have a second vehicle or trailer. We had our boat and parking was a pain. Pros -Newly build home, good location, friendly owners, adequately stocked, safe area. Cons- Towels had unpleasant odour, we ended up using our own. Floors didn’t appear to have been washed. Shower curtain needs to be replaced. No BBQ.

North Cowichan Suite

Very clean property with beautiful decor and furniture, and an excellent selection of kitchen supplies, equipment and amenities. We really enjoyed the private enclosed outdoor patio. Terrific location and host. We look forward to coming back here for another visit.

This vacation rental is great. Very clean, all new, roomy, and quiet. Easy entry, private backyard space, new washer and dryer, all new kitchen and bath, and good parking space. We were very comfortable during our three night stay.

Duncan Delight

Lots of room for 4 of us staying 3 nights. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Wish there were a couple of hooks in the bedrooms for hanging stuff and an extra mirror for getting ready in the morning, but overall very satisfied with our visit. Lovely area to walk around as well.

Lovely stay, but beds could use an upgrade.

We recently stayed at this VRBO property and overall had a pleasant experience. The suite was impeccably clean and modern, with a wide range of amenities that made our stay convenient. However, the comfort of the beds left much to be desired. After a day of traveling, it's important to have a restful night's sleep, and unfortunately, the beds felt quite uncomfortable. Additionally, we noticed a lack of extra blankets, which would have been appreciated on cooler nights. With improvements in these areas, particularly regarding the sleeping arrangements, this would be a place we would gladly recommend to others.

Gorgeous newness

This spot is brand new and a delightful place to stay in Duncan. The private patio is peaceful and calm. The beds are so comfortable and the shower/tub outstanding. A very pleasant stay for my sister and me.
