Kom tot rust in een gezellige en serene omgeving terwijl u geniet van tal van gemakken. Een onlangs gerenoveerde en prachtig ingerichte kaap vol met voorzieningen in de buurt van Bar Harbor en Acadia National Park. Weggestopt op een rustige bosrijke kavel, maar toch op korte afstand van elke gewenste locatie zowel op als naast Mt Desert Island. Kies gedurende de dag uit een overvloed aan spannende, opwindende en vermakelijke activiteiten. Ontspan en verjong vervolgens later in vrede en rust. Bekijk een film op een 50-inch plasma-tv, lees een boek, speel een game, surf op het net of zit op het dek en chat met een koud drankje in de hand. Dicht bij Bar Harbor Area Information & Acadia Welcome Center, kreeft pond, benzinestations, supermarkt, restaurants, Bar Harbor Airport, etc. Een prima startpunt voor toegang tot elke locatie op Mt Desert Island, Ellsworth of Schoodic Point. Heeft drie slaapkamers, 2 volledige baden, een groot terras met grill, prieel en picknicktafel. Niet roken overal op het terrein en geen huisdieren, alstublieft.

Gastcommentaar: ... bedankt voor je plaats. Het was geweldig. Gewoon perfect voor mij en mijn gezin ... Het viel echt op de plek in het algemeen ... we kwamen echt tot rust en vonden tijd voor Bar Harbor, de westkant van het eiland, Ellsworth, de timmerhoutshow, golf, kajakken, walvissen spotten ..., wandelen in het park ... we vonden het geweldig en hopen in de toekomst weer terug te keren. Nogmaals bedankt voor het mogelijk maken .----

Ik denk niet dat ik het je vóór de reis heb verteld: de favoriete vakantieplek van mijn ouders is altijd Maine geweest, maar vanwege hun leeftijd zijn ze niet meer dan meer terug naar Acadia National Park 10 jaar; dus we hebben dit gezinsuitje samengesteld zodat mijn mensen daar konden terugkeren, en het huisje bleek de perfecte plek voor ons te zijn. Ideal location for visiting Acadia NP including the Bar Harbor side, the Southwest side and Schoodic Peninsula. Nice distance from the crowds in Bar Harbor. The most fully equipped kitchen we have had. June was very helpful with advanced planning ideas and communication with her throughout the trip was prompt and clear. Our family of 5 adults had plenty of room. Absolutely recommend!

Cottage is a great location for travels outside of Bar Harbor as well. We went from Eastport down to Rockland and all in between. One of the few listings with two king beds and a queen, our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the large cottage.

The cottage was beautiful and well-situated. It was easy to access the island, as well as points on the mainland. We did one provisioning in Ellsworth on the way in. After that, Edwards Market, Lunts Lobster Pound and a bakery with great blueberry pies -- all within a five-minute drive -- made eating in easy. It was a relaxing time for the four of us.

I didn't stay at this rental. I arrived to find three window air conditioners still in place. With temperatures in late October in the 50s during the day and 30s or 40s at night, I explained to the owner that it was too cool for me. She told me to put on the heat. Since there was a clause in her contract about renters not wasting resources, I told her it was wasteful. She told me that she was sorry it didn't work out but her ACs stayed in the windows until mid-November. This should be made clear to renters. Very disappointed.

Outstanding, Quaint Cottage

Goose Cove Cottage is a beautifully decorated, welcoming, well-maintained property. Tucked into the woods, private location close to Bar Harbor and Acadia State Park. Best house in the woods

Property was amazing. Quiet and peaceful, yet close enough for a quick trip to pick up any needs. Short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The home was beautiful inside and out. Inside, the decor was amazing with very nice designs. It had every amenity you could imagine. The check-in process was fast and simple. The host even had a 6-pack of blueberry soda! (First time having it and I must say, I'd go back again for just the soda) Great communications to make sure we had everything we needed. The check-out was easy with great instructions on what needed to be done. If you are looking for a quiet, close, and beautiful place to stay on your visit to Acadia or sights nearby, this is the place for you!

Before my family moved to Bar Harbor in the late 60's, I have vivid memories of life at the lobster pound that my father and uncle shared ownership of in Sorrento, Maine. Many hours were spent with my siblings scouring the seashore for driftwood, sea glass, and shells, digging up clams, looking for crabs under seaweed at low tide, and exploring tide pools. We grew up with a love of nature and particularly the ocean. Many of my adult years were spent working in Bar Harbor as well as exploring Mt Desert and some of the surrounding islands. After the family business located in Bar Harbor was sold in 2000, we moved to the mid-West where I presently live. But, I am drawn back to this region several times a year to enjoy the unique beauty of Acadia and to experience once again the sights, sounds, and smells associated with the Atlantic ocean.
