We were very cozy having coffee on the porch in the morning watching the wild life. We saw many deer along with a friendly cat, who greeted us at the sliding door every morning. The beds were comfortable and it was located nice and close to Acadia.

Perfect! Everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. So clean and so nice! Really enjoyed our stay! Close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Would highly recommend this property for a family of six or less. Just perfect!!!

We loved the cottage.Positives: Kitchen fully stocked with utensils, pans, flatware, etc. More than I have experienced in the past. Lots of just little extras - plenty of towels, toilet paper, even boxes of kleenex around. Washer and dryer worked great. Gas grill clean and ready to go. Convenient location to Bar Harbour but far enough away to not deal with the tourist rabble. A little highway noise but otherwise very quuiet. Host was prompt with answering any questions.Cons: Only one. Listing says it is withing walking distance of the ocean. It is not. Public beach is a 1-1/4 mile drive from cottage, along an often busy highway.

This is an excellent rental for those looking to stay near Acadia and Bar Harbor. The property is clean and comfortable and the owners are great to work with.

Now this is a 5 star home.

Very clean, overabundance of kitchen appliances, even a colander and popover tin which we used, Roomy, nightlights, places for luggage, bathroom counter space, large bath soaps, laundry supplies, room for family time... We loved our stay and would do it again.

Home Away From Home

This is a beautiful, spacious house. We loved the private and quiet location. It was an ideal and comfortable place to come back to after a long day in Acadia National Park or Bar Harbor.

Everything was exactly as stated. Enjoyed the location, away from the busy Bar Harbor but close enough to enjoy Acadia. Highly recommend the Bar Harbor Lobster Pound. Best food for price we had the whole trip.

Would stay there again

Clean, well-appointed house with no surprises located 15 minutes from Bar Harbor and the main part of Acardia. Lobster stand and coffee shop next door, plus good hikes in the less-visited parts of the park. Great if you don't want to be in the middle of the things but close by.

We loved this place. It was immaculate and very well supplied with everything needed. It feels like it is isolated even though everything we wanted to was no more than 15 to 25 min away. We found 3 or 4 great food places within 10 min. Tom was very response to a couple of small issues we had while there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. We had 6 adults and loved having a place we could sit and talk, play games, fix meals, and of course have enough beds to fit us all. The house was to the side of a pretty busy road, but it was blocked by trees and was secluded. It is a little ways from Bar Harbor and Acadia, but only takes a short drive(15ish) to get there. We found plenty of restaurants nearby--" The Travelin Lobster" is literally next door and we walked there a couple of times. Everything in the house was nicely done and it was comfortable and clean. We only had one small hick up. We couldn't find the email for the original reservation (made months in advance) and so just looked up check in and check out info on the VRBO website/App--it gave us the wrong times. Think it might help if an email or text was sent right before or it be listed clearly on the in-house sheet. Anyway, I felt badly that we were a little late checking out. Would suggest hosts contact VBRO and correct times. Over all a great stay and would gladly stay again.

Great little out of the way place

Nice house. Plenty of room. A bit tricky finding the turnoff for the first day but really nice. Short distance from town and Acadia. Owners were very responsive to inquiries.
