Super chalet tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor although close enough to get your fill. Spectacular sunrises and a lovely beach on site and down the street. You’ll have all the necessities for your family feast while watching the tide fill in daily while you plan your next adventure. Truly a magical place.

Fabulous location steps from the shore. Beauty surrounds the chalet, and it is conveniently located to sites, and the bus stop. House had all essentials and made for a perfect time in the MDI area.

My family of four loved staying at the Spruce. Every morning having coffee on the back deck, looking out at Frenchman’s Bay was heaven-sent. My favorite part of staying here was looking up at the skylight in the morning. My kids enjoyed looking for shells on the beach. Great proximity to Bar Harbor and Acadia.

It was a perfect spot for our family of 5. The view was amazing. You could walk right out the door and walk down the stairs to Frenchman Bay. It was also close to everything - Bar Harbor, Southport. We had a great time!

Just a perfect Maine cabin. Rustic but all you need. Beautiful view of Frenchman Bay. We loved it! Host reached out to check on us. Perfect stay!

We loved the location and view from this cozy cabin. It was the perfect spot to relax after hikes and a short drive to Bar Harbor for dinner, coffee or breakfast. We enjoyed dinner at Sweet Pea the first night and lobster rolls at Lund’s the next day. Otherwise we tried several places in Bar Harbor which were all good; cafe this way, side street cafe, Blaze and Galyn’s. Also, Peter was a great host.

Beautiful location, very quiet and secluded. Perfect for a getaway with my husband. Owner was wonderful, made sure we had everything we needed. Close to area attractions. Highly recommend!

Great rustic cabin overlooking Frenchman’s Bay

Loved the cabin - it was perfect for our family. We were happy to be out of town and on the water, beds were comfy and the cabin clean. Had enough pots and pans, utensils to cook meals.

Spruce chalet was great little spot to stay in Acadia for our 3 teen (14, 14, and 16)boys and us. Close to the park and downtown Bar Harbor. Great water views! The house really had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked. Peter was very responsive for anything that came up.

Wonderful cabin

The cabin is beautiful, right on the water. It's rustic and I wouldn't want to explore MDI in other way! We had a baby with us, but his afternoon naps and early morning risings. were much more enjoyable with the beautiful view from the cabin.

Perfect for us!

This little cabin was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. Peter was so helpful-giving us great suggestions and guiding us as navigating to Bar Harbor for the first time. The canine was fully stocked, super cozy and the view was spectacular. The morning sunrise was glorious. The location was perfect for our stay the area to fully explore Acadia. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful stay

Beautiful property with water views and convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia. We thought it was perfect for two but could also comfortably fit a family of 4-5. Peter was responsive and provided many useful recommendations to make our stay more enjoyable. Kitchen is well equipped. We would certainly stay again when in the area.

Host communicated with us throughout the visit. Enjoyed the location. Only complaint would be the shower head. A new one would do wonders.

Cozy little cottage

Cozy little cottage on the lake! We greatly enjoyed our home away from home. It is tiny but it was just what we needing in a landing pad for our day hiking trips in beautiful Acadia. There were some plumbing issues while we were staying there, but Peter got right on fixing it.

We had an amazing stay at the Spruce chalet!

Our family loved this little cabin - while tiny, it had all we needed and was truly the perfect location to explore Acadia and Mount Desert Island. We enjoyed the drive to and from the park and Bar Harbor. We also loved having Sweat Pea's and C-Rays so close and ate at Sweat Pea's twice! The lovely view, my daily yoga and coffee on the deck, the direct access to the stairs down to the shore, exploring the shore and water during low tide; we truly loved the stay. Thanks for sharing the chalet!!
