Bescheiden Verfijning! Prachtig uitzicht op de Atlantische Oceaan vanaf de tweede verdieping master bedroom dek. Gelegen op slechts 300 meters van het privéstrand van een trap die leidt naar een van de rustigste stranden van het eiland. Geniet van een beetje rust terwijl ontspannen in de schilderachtige Engels stijl binnenplaats. Geniet van de zachte, rustgevende geluid van de oceaan, terwijl u ontspannen in deze '' Quintessential '' Nantucket Beach Cottage.

Korte zachte wandeling naar een van de meest geïsoleerde, schone, eigen zout water stranden op het eiland.

Dit huis is ver genoeg van de drukte in Nantucket, maar dichter bij de supermarkt en andere diensten dan de meeste andere afgelegen gebieden op het eiland. Fietspaden brengt u ofwel naar het pittoreske dorpje Sconset of aan de meer dan 80 mijl van Nantucket stranden. Tom Nevers deel van het eiland is voorzien van dichte natuurlijke gebladerte, een omgeving ring van behoud land, uitgestrekte uitzicht en mijlen van afgelegen stranden. De hoger gelegen en zachte stijgt bieden koeler briesje dan de rest van het eiland.

Voor een onvergetelijke ervaring, neem uw four-wheel drive naar afgelegen Great Point om te vissen en zie de beste zonsopgang op het eiland!

We enjoyed our stay. My husband, two kids, and I found the property peaceful, well-appointed and very clean. We enjoyed playing Monopoly in the evenings and drinking coffee on the upper deck in the mornings with ocean views. Excellent WiFi. Personally I loved the hydrangeas in the courtyard and the luxurious bedding in the master bedroom.

We had a great week at Frank’s home. Cannot beat this location! The house was perfect for our family of 3 and just a short walk to the beach. The beach here felt like a private beach. Great Beach House

Great location to get away from everything. House was immaculate, quiet neighborhood and a 5 minute walk to private beach where we were typically the only ones there. Enjoyed seeing all the seals and deer. Very tranquil!

Amazing views, quiet street, walk to beach!

Easy check in / out process, communication with the property manager was easy! Bikes were a huge hit, a quick 20 minute ride and you’re having coffee in sconset. We will be back!

Cozy Guesthouse in Tom Nevers

Beautiful, cozy guesthouse. Very clean, simple nautical theme with lots of light. Tom Nevers is about 6 miles from the city center of Nantucket, but delightfully quiet with a beautiful beach. Absolutely no light pollution, so the unspoiled starry skies at night were a sight to behold!

Tranquil beach retreat

We loved this property. Just off a private beach, friendly neighbors, lovely views from second floor deck. Owner very accommodating and responsive to questions. Car or ride service required for getting into town, but that wasnt a problem for us. I would definitely rent again.

Quiet picturesque retreat

My family (husband and 2 kids-teen/tween) enjoyed our stay as a home base to our time on Nantucket. The cottage was well equipped for us to cook the meals we wanted. We also had game nights at the kitchen table with many laughs that left us with great memories. The beach is so close and we enjoyed our walks. The cottage was so cute and decorated in the Nantucket vibe I adore.

Darling Cottage!

My husband, daughters and I enjoyed our stay at this relaxing cottage in Tom Nevers. The serene surroundings were great for our morning walks and the private beach was so convenient! I especially liked the deck off the master bedroom. It was perfect for enjoying a quiet breakfast in the morning, reading a book in the afternoon and stargazing at night. We have been to Nantucket several times and would definitely come back to stay here again. Our heart truly belongs to this beautiful island!

We had a great stay in Nantucket and this Cottage was perfect for our family trip! We wanted something a bit quiet and this location was amazing - a very short walk to Tom Nevers beach, which was gorgeous and never crowded. And the location was fairly central to everything else we wanted to do while on the island (downtown, Sconset, Madaket Beach, etc). Having a car was ideal to get around as needed. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space to relax - especially the garden where we ate a couple of family meals and the upstairs patio area where we'd have coffee in the morning and look out to the ocean. Frank was a great host and very attentive with quick responses to the few questions we did have. Definitely recommend this spot!

The Great Escape

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in a beach location, this is it! This home was immaculate and beautifully decorated . It was perfectly situated just a short walk to the beach. I haven’t slept this good in months, I wish I could have taken the mattress home with me. The description was all that and more! Thank you Frank for sharing your home with us. Best rental on the island!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The beach (which is fabulous) was 6 houses away..and we practically had it to ourselves the entire week. The cottage had plenty of room for a family of four. We enjoyed grilling out at the courtyard every evening (as well as stargazing every night). We only drove into town twice, as we had every thing we needed right at the rental. The owner, Frank, was gracious and helpful throughout our entire stay. We would not hesitate to recommend this to our family and friends. This was exactly the type of vacation we needed to fully relax. The pictures do not even do this rental justice..it was even better than we were expecting!

Wonderful stay

The location was perfect: quiet, across the street from an almost always empty beach, with great views from the deck. The house looked even better than the pictures indicated. The pull out couch was a bit uncomfortable and we are glad we didn't end up with the additional 2 people we had originally planned to join us. It was very comfortable for 4 people. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies to cook many of our meals. I recommend having a car as it was about $40 with tips each way into town. It was a fantastic week away and Frank was incredibly responsive with any questions we had before and during our stay. We hope to be back!

Fantastic Getaway

My family and I stayed here on our first trip to Nantucket. We couldn't have been happier! To start, Frank and Margaret have done gone out of their way to make the place cozy and livable yet immaculate (I just realized that's part of the description - but it's true!). The furnishings and the place itself all feel very new, clean and well organized. We were appreciative of all the ammenities - not only washer/dryer, dishwasher, cookware, BBQ, outdoor patio, fresh towels and bedding - but vacation bonuses like beach chairs, umbrellas, toys and coolers. The cottage is a short walk from a quiet beach, which was a great option (we were there during high season and many of the other beaches were very crowded). And the drive to downtown is quick and easy (20 minutes, we rented a car or called cabs depending on who was going and what we were planning to do!). The owners were friendly, accessible and very responsive. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and look forward to making it a family tradition in the future.

Beautiful, peaceful property

This was a beautiful, private house a short walk to a gorgeous beach. There were so many beautiful outdoor areas to relax and enjoy the ocean views and gorgeous landscaping. We visited in what is considered the pre-season (April), and found the area immensely quiet and relaxing. There are tons of deer on the island, and we discovered grey and harbor seals on the nearby beach to the children’s delight. The neighborhood is far off from the bustle of the downtown, and a short walk from a lovely expanse of beach. You’ll need a car or have to take a taxi to get out to the house, but it’s worth it if you’re looking to relax and have easy beach access. The house itself was lovely, easily capable of sleeping the four members of our family. Kitchen was perfectly serviceable and we had no trouble stocking up on supplies and cooking meals. There was a minor problem with the toilet getting hung up that required us to reach into the back tank to get the water flowing again that was minor but occurred a few too many times. Easy to fix, but not what you expect to deal with.

After having visited the island for over 20 years as a renter, it became abundantly clear that Tom Nevers offered the best of Nantucket. This house is far enough from the crowds in Nantucket, yet closer to the supermarket and other services than most other outlying areas on the island. Bike paths will take you either to the picturesque village of Sconset or to the more than 80 miles of Nantucket beaches. The Tom Nevers area of the island features dense natural foliage, a surrounding ring of conservation land, expansive views and miles of secluded beaches. The higher elevation and gentle rises offer cooler breezes than the rest of the island, with no mosquito's!
