The yard is gorgeous and the creek is so relaxing! We really enjoyed sitting outside. The owners are great with communication!The property needs updatin. Otherwise it was a nice weekend stay.

Very peaceful place and will love to stay again

The place was very peaceful and it was super easy to communicate with the host. One little problem we faced was, the heat was not working in one of the bedrooms other than that everything was wonderful.

Hi Samur, thanks for the wonderful review. I hope you had mentioned about the heat during your stay. We have a central HVAC with a smart Nest thermostat. This thermostat has a ‘Eco’ feature which if activated turns off heat if it doesn’t recognize human. We usually keep this ‘ Eco’ feature off, but the previous guest may have turned it on. We could have simply turned off the Eco if you had notified us. Again thanks for the feedback, next time we will put this on our list to ensure Eco feature is off before guests checkin. It was a pleasure having you and love to see you again.

Family getaway

Excellent experience, with great outdoor stream in backyard. Walking distance to beach and nice quite walks on the block. Great place to stay with family and friends. Clean, quiet, and an awesome backyard for fun with family. Definitely recommend this house.

best backyard in the Poconos!

We loved our stay here at Arrowhead Lake. The backyard was definitely the highlight of the house and we also loved the game room. House was clean, kitchen was fully stocked and Mamta was very responsive and helpful.

A peaceful place

Lovely setting. Backyard stream was delightful. Lots of deer sightings. Tiny bathroom, tight kitchen. Beautiful location.

Beautiful backyard, perfect for enjoying the quiet of the woofs

This is our second year staying here and we were so happy to have great weather so we could enjoy the beautiful backyard with the stream. Our kids loved exploring the backyard and all of the fun games in the game room. We will definitely be back!

A lovely home!

My friend and I enjoyed a short stay and truly enjoyed this home and property, especially sitting by the stream and waterfall. Communication with the hosts was a breeze. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. We look forward to a return visit!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

The Shanti Streamhouse was PERFECT. The property was clean, the kitchen was equipped with all we needed to cook meals, and the beds were comfortable. The stream out back was the true gem of the property. My family and I loved the relaxing long weekend at the house. We are already planning our summer stay. Thank you for an amazing weekend.

Great place for privacy and convenient location

I booked the home to get away and be alone for a few days and it was everything I hoped for and more. The place was cozy and all amentites made it easy to have everything I needed. The owners communication was outstanding and I would definitely consider returning. Ellen Overholt

Sweet cottage

We got unlucky with the weather the week of our stay, it rained constantly. But the cottage was comfortable and we had a chance to use the grill a few times. The brook in the back was very soothing. The property manager was great at communicating. The area itself is nice and quiet, with the ponds and pools great for kids. Good for a laid back stay.

Loved our stay!

The house was great, clean and stocked with everything we needed. The property was beautiful and we spent a lot of time playing at and sitting beside the stream. At night we sat around the fire pit. The house is close to the lake, close enough for kids to ride their bikes. Kids loved the beach and we went out on kayaks. Owner was available to answer any questions, though we had only a few. We very much enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to visiting again.

Relaxing stream house

The listing description and photos were accurate and the property was clean. Everything we needed was provided. However, a couple of the drop ceiling tiles in one of the bedrooms was broken. The stream in the backyard was definitely a bonus

The owner was wonderful. However, the house stunk and the community workers were not friendly whatsoever.

Jaime, thanks for your feedback. We realized the guest before you burned some plastic bottle in the fireplace, and left as it is. Our cleaners cleaned it but you came as soon as our cleaners left, much earlier than our standard arrival time. As you were already there we allowed you early access, however there was no enough time for the house to ventilate. Also our welcome center was not prepared to hand over gate cards etc. as guests don't come that early on the arrival day. Apologies for all the inconvenience you had. We have now decided to not give early access to anyone when we have same day turnover.

Perfect get away spot

The property was much more than we had hoped for. It rained our first days but the house felt like home so we had no problem staying in. When it wasn’t raining, we spent much of our time around the fire, playing in the creek, and seeing all the great stuff the community had to offer. Our favorite part were the deer that would walk through the stream every day. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a camping experience with all the comfortability of home

Fantastic location, comfortable house

The house had everything we needed for our family of 5 to be comfortable and was in a great spot with a beautiful yard to chill at the house or go hike nearby. It smelled a bit musty and we needed to take allergy meds for our dust/mold allergies BUT we loved the spot so much we didn’t care. We didn’t expect it to be new and perfect so that was fine, it was accurate to the listing.
