Ocean views!!! This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Private heated indoor pool. Fire pit, picnic tables. A few minutes walk to the beach and Mouth Of Smith River- Known for it's great fishing. Property has a kid friendlym park onsite and fully gated for your furry babies to enjoy. Yes we are Pet Friendly.
This cottage was recently remodeled, We kept the original charm and wood from the original build.

Second bridge with a rope swing- this is a locals spot that you will be sure to enjoy with just a short hike down to the beach.

The space is open concept. Loft with full size bed, California king bed with comfortable bedding, and 2 sofa bed's! This is a complete open concept.

Check in was very easy. Very cute cottage. Only complaint was there wasn’t an actual bedroom, the whole house was open so the only place to change clothes was the bathroom and the bathroom is small. Kids had a blast with the pool shared with the other house. It was nice they had life jackets and all the pool stuff available.

Very spacious, clean, lots of fenced in outdoor space (great for traveling with a pup), walk to beautiful beaches, best of all worlds. Throughly enjoyed my stay.

The cottage was lovely and clean, the bed was soooo comfy and cushy, the wood stove was super-cozy, and the swimming pool was magnificent! It felt so decadent having an evening swim, knowing the Pacific Ocean was crashing outside.

Beautiful place. Very private. They have everything you need to make your say comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay. The indoor pool is so nice and warm. My kids had a blast! Thank you for an amazing stay.

Wonderful vacation spot!

Everything about this place was amazing. We enjoyed the awesome pool. The bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby. The host was so nice and friendly she always responded to my messages when I asked her questions. Definitely will come back it’s my kids new favorite vacation home.

My family and I loved this place. Super cute and clean. My youngest loved the loft bed, the shower was awesome and the pool was amazing. we had everything we needed and the host responded very quickly to all my questions. lovely lovely stay.amazing.

Pleasant

Close to the beach. Comfy beds. Huge shower. Lovely kitchen fully stocked with enough dishes that we were able to have a delicious and well timed thanksgiving meal. Walked to the beach and hung out with some seals in the bay area. Dogs were comfortable. Only thing is the shower didn't get hot and the hot tub was as warm as the pool. Hopefully they get that fixed. The host was wonderful and check in and out was a breeze

Hi Dawn thank you for the great review we appreciate you staying here with us! As listed there’s no hot tub here it’s a kids kids pool same temperature as the big pool, also we doubled checked the shower water it gets very hot your the first guest to mention this so we checked it immediately.

No hot tub

We were pretty disappointed that the hot tub don’t work that was one of the reasons why we rented this place upon check-in we were told there was more of a kitty, pool, kid, pool, and that the cats get work now a portion of my kitties Christmas present were a ton of water toys. we didn’t even use them. But… We ended up having a great time was wonderful to have family we baked & ate. Hosts were fabulous

Sorry for the confusion we have not listed that there’s a jacuzzi available on our listing, we only have it listed as heated indoor pool and at the time of your stay it was at 88 degrees. We were really happy that your grandchildren were able to enjoy it the whole time of your stay.

Was just okay

Our family stayed here for a vacation to the Redwoods. Overall, the house was okay and the location was not great. It is very far from any convenience/grocery stores and restaurants. It is also across from a run down trailer park. The ocean view was very minimal. The house was clean. Our two youngest weren’t able to use the loft bed because of sugar ants. Fortunately, there was a pull out bed and couch they could sleep on. Cob webs in the corners of the ceiling. There is not a dishwasher so some of the dishes were dirty. Leftover food in the fridge including an opened container of ice cream. More sugar ants were found in the bathroom and kitchen near the coffee maker. Also, the only heat source is the wood stove, they only provide one bundle which wasn’t enough for the time of our stay. Luckily there was an electric fireplace near the bed, but didn’t heat the living room so kids got cold. Another thing to note was no vent above the stove and uneven flooring. We did really appreciate the pool, kids had fun playing in it every night. Also, the property is dog friendly so we were able to bring our small corgi who was crated most of the time.

Thank you for your review. You’re the first to complain out of 250 plus reviews on Vrbo,Airbnb and Expedia, about location,ants, heating source, like you stated the cottage was clean. We always do thorough walk-through before any guest arrive and no sugar ants were seen, we didn’t complain to you about not adding a pet to your boooking and you also just allowed your pet to be all over the furniture when we ask kindly in check in instructions not to allow pets on furniture because they shed all over it and we have to spend hours cleaning the hair off. The trailer park down the street is definitely not ran down your just criticizing and being judgmental of the way, other people live all neighbors in this area are very kind and nice people. All heating sources are on the listing you should have read it before complaining about it that’s your responsibility as a booker, no one else has ever complained about it. We alway go above and beyond for our guest an let them know that we are available if needed.
