6/10 – Matig

Positief: Inchecken, locatie
Check-in was easy, though the home was not readyvat the stated time and we were not notified of any delay. There were issues with the cleanliness of the home, and posted pictures did not reflect actual status of the home's state of upkeep. It took multiple attempts to reach someone, though in all fairness, it was a weekend. Expectations (based on photographic depiction and written description on VRBO) were not met, but management did offer a resolution.

Good, but not great.

House is a little outdated, not being kept up with, currently for sale. Wood rotten on deck. Nice lights outside for ambiance if more than 6 of 30 worked. Door to upstairs deck is broken and hard to open. Cooked on food left on dishes in cabinets. Dirty ceilings. I know it’s pet friendly and I love that, but it doesn’t need to smell like a pet. Ice maker doesn’t work and clearly they were aware bc they brought us a bag of ice and didn’t attempt to fix. Closet door has a lock and we were not provided combo, took over 3 hours for a reply after numerous messages and an initial hold one moment turned into 3 hours later. We had items locked in there. Listing says ‘game room’ …….there is no such game room…..unless they mean cards and Jenga in a closet?
The dishes we had to choose from when we arrived
All the ‘not working’ lights

Thank you, Erin, for taking the time to share your detailed experience. We're truly sorry that your stay didn't meet expectations. While we’re glad you appreciated the outdoor ambiance and pet-friendly aspect, it’s clear that several maintenance and communication issues impacted your stay, and we take that seriously. Your comments about the deck, lighting, dishes, and odor are all noted and will be addressed. We understand how frustrating the locked closet situation was and regret the delay in providing the correct access. We also appreciate your honesty regarding the game room listing—we’ll investigate our listing and rectify if needed to better set guest expectations. Your feedback helps us improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide a much better experience in the future.
