We had a great stay from start to finish. The host was organized, welcoming, and made the whole experience easy. The home was well equipped, which made the stay much more comfortable, and the host thoughtfully left a welcoming gift. We took the kayaks out for an excursion and saw much wildlife and a breathtaking sunset. The property was exactly as described, and we would happily stay again.

Lovely home on the canal. So clean and spotless. Easy check in. Great Host. Loved the decor and colors, very coastal/beachy. The home was stocked with everything we could have hoped for, and more. We look forward to staying there again in the future.

What a beautiful and relaxing property! We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities, especially the kayaks and fishing off the dock. We saw lots of wildlife, including a baby dolphin. Wendy was easy to communicate with, and the kitchen was fully stocked with what we needed. The golf cart is well worth the extra fee, and the extra cots came in handy for our kids. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

What a beautiful home on the water! Loved watching the shrimp boat in the morning and evening coming and going. Loved the golf cart and driving it to the store and restaurants. We were able to rent a boat and dock it overnight, so convenient. House had so many amenities and was so clean! Had awesome games and loved cards of humanity with our teenager, did we laugh! We got a ton of scallops, fished of the dock and got a crab and fish!! Loved everything about this home, stay, convenience, area! Thank you Wendy, she was very nice to deal with. Would 100% return.

Host was immediately responsive and friendly. Attention to detail was applied in every room of this home. More amenities than I’ve ever experienced in any rental before. This home was cozy and so peaceful. The canal in the back was so enjoyable to relax and watch the sea life. Several local restaurants with good food. . A great getaway!

To start we have stayed at many vacation rentals and this by far exceeds all others. Upon arrival the property was immaculate. Wendy was an amazing host and responded immediately to any questions. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. Her attention to detail was well thought out, anything you needed was there. We enjoyed watching the shrimp boats from the screened in porch. We were 5 minutes away from the Weeki Wachee Preserve, which we enjoyed hiking every morning. We also enjoyed manatee viewing at Linda Pedersen Park. In closing I would highly recommend this wonderful property for your vacation.

We had an absolutely amazing stay and can’t recommend this place enough!From the moment we arrived, it was clear the host went above and beyond. The home was beautifully decorated and truly set the perfect vacation vibe. Everything was spotless, and the added toiletries plus a fully stocked, well-equipped kitchen made our stay incredibly comfortable and easy.One of our favorite parts was cruising around the neighborhood and heading down to the tiki bar on the golf cart for some great seafood. We also spent time fishing—I hadn’t fished in years and had a blast catching a few small snapper, catfish, and even a sheepshead! My daughter loved watching all the boats go by, especially the shrimp and fishing boats, and we even spotted stingrays swimming along the seawall, which was such a cool experience.Every detail of this stay was thoughtfully done, and it made for a memorable trip for our whole family. We’re already talking about coming back!

We had an amazing stay at this Hernando Beach home. The home was absolutely immaculate—cozy, inviting, and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. From a great coffee station to plenty of cookware, the hosts really thought of every detail. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding after a long day.The outside area was pure tranquility. Situated right on the canal, we enjoyed relaxing on the floating dock and watching boats come and go. It made for such a peaceful, refreshing atmosphere.The neighborhood itself is quiet and peaceful, yet just minutes away from delicious restaurants, bars with live music, and the incredible Weeki Wachee area. We brought our motorcycles down and were not disappointed—the rides and nearby scenery were fantastic.Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and serene getaway. We’d absolutely stay again!

Firstly, I've rented approximately 20 properties through VRBO. We stayed at this property for 30 days. This will stand out as one of our favorite spots, and the host (Wendy) was great to work with. The location was fantastic. We enjoyed watching the commercial fishing boats come and go with the tide. We spotted dolphins at the dock on 3 different occasions. And the bird activity was great. The house was super clean and very well appointed. I've never rented a place that was this well-equipped. From the coffee bar, and spices, to the linens/towels - all were top notch. They had really nice cookware & knives usually not seen in a rental. Very good quality. We took the kayaks out many times - visiting the manatees and exploring the canals. The neighborhood was nice and very safe. A couple of the local restaurants were very good too. And it's convenient to grocery stores and shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Loved our stay at the “rod and reel”!The most important things first, the place is clean and well maintained. The beds are comfortable and I particularly loved the black out curtains when I wanted to sleep in. The kitchen was well equipped, but honestly I enjoyed the coffee bar and the local restaurants more than cooking. The many options of outdoor seating was great for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine. Watching the boats and wildlife from the docks was relaxing. I loved taking the golf cart out in the evening and exploring the neighborhoods. But my favorite thing was taking the kayaks to Weeki Wachee. I saw a couple of manatees and loved how clear and beautiful the river is. They also have the mermaid show, kind of hokey but it’s a must see. I spoke with the owner who had to help me with keypad, apparently I missed adding # to enter. She was funny and happy to help. I would def come back here again and rent a boat. Wonderful stay!!!
