Onze hut is een geweldige 5 slaapkamers / 4. 5 bad en is slechts 3 minuten naar het centrum van Gatlinburg. Genoeg voorzieningen om in de hut te blijven, zoals ontspannen in de hot tub en genieten van het uitzicht.
Onze tarieven beginnen bij $ 375 / nacht, afhankelijk van het aantal gasten en de tijd van het jaar. Onze hut heeft veel voorzieningen. $ 375 tarief is niet tijdens het hoogseizoen. Deze hut heeft een bubbelbad, een gashaard, een pooltafel, tafelvoetbal, een droge sauna en verschillende verzamelruimtes binnen en buiten de hut. Gatlinburg TN, gelegen naast het Great Smoky Mountains National Park, staat bekend als 'The Gateway to the Smokies'. Dit gebied trekt jaarlijks miljoenen bezoekers, die naar Gatlinburg komen voor de schoonheid van de Smoky Mountains en de omgeving. Van november tot maart is het de perfecte tijd om het weekend naar Gatlinburg te rennen. Deze tijd van het jaar is Gatlinburg minder druk en je kunt veel besparen op overnachtingen als het later in het seizoen wordt.

De winters in Gatlinburg zijn niet erg hard, maar zijn meestal mild. Er zijn tijden dat we wat sneeuw zullen krijgen, het zal meestal niet lang duren, maar het is prachtig als het dat wel is. Er is zelfs een golfbaan in Gatlinburg die het hele jaar open is. Dus denk niet alleen aan Gatlinburg als een vakantie in de lente, zomer of herfst, maar als een vakantie op elk moment ...

Wonderful Stay!

We had an amazing time on our vacation to Gatlinburg. I have stayed in numerous cabins around the area, but this is hands down the best cabin I’ve stayed in. Thank you so much to the owners for checking in on us during our stay, making sure everything was perfect, which it was. We would definitely stay there again!

Loved this cabin. Was within the City Limits and just a short drive to everything. Having a black bear Welcome us within the first hour we were there made our trip.

One of our favorite cabins we’ve ever stayed in!

We had a wonderful stay over Memorial Day weekend at this cabin. Communication with the host was great, the check in process was easy, and the cabin was the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. We loved the layout of the cabin and all of the amenities. It was a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg and we found it very convenient to the Food City nearby. We also highly recommend the restaurants nearby that are not on the typical beaten path! Would definitely stay again!

Congratulations on your wedding event, I am sure it was exciting to have everyone together and getting ready at the cabin. Lots of memories made. Unfortunately the cabin had not been used previously for wedding events for large groups and the unexpected arose. I only wish you would have let me come or send someone up to the cabin to solve the electrical questions, but I totally understand it was your special weekend and that was the last thing on your mind. Each and every time we spoke, You were very sweet and a pleasure to talk to. I wish you, Melissa, and Brad many many years of happiness. We feel privileged our cabin was part of the memory of when you began your journey together.

Amazing vacation

The cabin was beautiful and comfortable. We saw a bear the 2nd day we were there. Very close up. Lily is amazing. She was available anytime we had questions and very personable. We are going to check out their lake house next year. Plenty of room for 16 people and something for everyone. I would highly recommend this cabin.

New, Clean and comfy!

This new place was just what we needed. Had room for all 10 kids and 4 adults. Had all amenities needed. Renters were accessible and kind. Even checked daily to see if we needed anything. Place was well decorated and designed. It was very convenient to downtown. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be returning to this great place.

Family celebration and quarantine

8 of us enjoyed a fantastic time at this beautiful home. We loved the hot tub, sauna, game tables, and streamed movies constantly. WiFi was great for our 3 college kids taking classes. The home was beautiful, spacious, clean with a fully stocked kitchen and had room for our family to eat all together. Gatlinburg is a magical place. Thank you again for a wonderful experience!

Fantastic property!

This property is amazing! The location is great - short drive to downtown Gatlinburg and Smoky Mountain National Park. We were lucky enough to see a bear on a couple occasions. Lily is fabulous! She’s very responsive to questions and she encourages you to contact her if anything is needed. The cabin is gorgeous. It’s very spacious and provided plenty of room for our party of 8. All of the beds are super comfy. Check in and check out process was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again!

Bear Necessities is a perfect cabin!

Bear Necessities is a perfect cabin for a family gathering. The home is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need. With three levels we had one family on each level and it worked perfectly. Lilly was fantastic to work with and answered all our questions. The location is great to get to everything in the area. Unfortunately, the weather was not beautiful, but we had a fabulous weekend before Christmas complete with a beautiful tree!

High end lodge highly recommend

I’ve been to the smoky mountains more than 8 times, this is the best lodge I’ve ever been in, the interior decoration is amazing, super clean well decorated, beds are so comfy, linens are clean and crispy,the game room was perfect for the kids, enough space for all of our group, kitchen is well equipped you will find everything you would need, the dining room is huge, living room is sunny and spacious, love every single detail in the cabin, location os perfect exactly 3 min away from Gatlinburg down town, i would rate it 10 out of 10. Communication with the owner was easy and she responded fast whenever i texted her. Would definitely get back to the same place. Highly recommend

Cannot say enough...

This property is a little gem! From the spacious rooms, cleanliness of the property, location, endless things to do in the cabin alone, the view, I cannot say enough! It truly felt like home. The property owner, is amazing! From the moment I reserved the cabin up to checkout, she was available by email, phone or text. As a personal note, I am extremely grateful for the kindness she bestowed on my family in our time of need. This was not only a family trip, but one to honor a loved one. Lilly made sure to let us know how much she cared about who stays in their cabin. I will forever be grateful to her!

This cabin was perfect for our multi family vacation and great for all ages. Everyone had plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped for dining in. We used all the bedrooms and everyone had a comfortable bed and pillows. Wi-Fi was great, water temp and pressure were great as well. The property is conveniently located near downtown and a local grocery. Everyone loved the wide variety of games and were just as happy to “stay in” as they were to go out to the different attractions. We were also able to start every morning with a quick ish hike to a different waterfall every day without having to drive into the park more than 20-30min at the most. The hosts of this cabin are more than helpful, very responsive and willing to go above and beyond to ensure your stay is wonderful. We will be looking at their properties if/when we return!

Misrepresented

I will be leaving a longer review at the end of our stay. We have contacted the owner 3x with no response. This place is filthy from sticky floors to streaked up windows to mold on the shower curtain. Cabin is grossly misrepresented in size and space. There is not enough kitchen equipment for more than six. There is nothing luxury about this.

For all of you who read reviews. The last complaint I had on here was Sept. 2014. That is almost a year ago. When this customer booked the cabin she said from the start the Daughter-In-Law did NOT want a cabin, D-I-L wanted a condo on the stripe. So there was conflict within this group before even booking a reservation. These folks showed up to the cabin before check in time and was upset the maids were not done with the cabin. They had the maids very upset, blocking her in and getting out of their cars and surrounding the cabin. We informed the customers NOT to arrive early because was a very busy weekend. Already attitudes flaring before they even got in the cabin. I am not going into a long reason of arguments however we did respond to these customers and I have all the proof on my phone. The customer called 7am the second day complaining and we responded approx 11am and told them that they may have a full refund if they were to leave the following morning by check out time. The customers never responded when offered a refund and called back on the 4th day to inform us one of their party had a bad kidney stone. Again I offered them a refund if she were to leave. She informed me that they were going to stay. Once the customer got home they called and demanded a 50% refund and I could only say that I would have given her a full refund if she would have left on the 3rd morning and she didn't. She then informed us that she was going to leave a really bad review if we did not give a 50% refund. Folks. If you are not happy with my cabin when you get here and if it is within reason, I will give you a full refund. However please do not stay in my cabin and then go home to complain and expect a full refund. That is just not morally right. I have only had one complaint in the last year so please do not judge me over some elses problems between Mother and Daughter-in-law causing them a bad day . Thank you owner

Beary Beautiful!!

The property and the host were fantastic! The property was just as pictured on the website...well appointed and nicely decorated! Location was easy to get to. We did see bears...quite closely!! They walked through our yard and practically up on the porch!! There is no cable, however between all of our streaming services, we never missed a beat. The living areas are spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was large and open...dishes, pots/pans, all utensils were great! Beds were very comfy!! Bathrooms were spacious and clean. Hot tub and dry sauna were a huge hit!! We intended on having an outdoor fire, but never got around to it, tho the fire pit was ready for us. Lilly was extremely kind and helpful. She makes herself easily available for any questions you may have. I would recommend this property for sure!! The only thing I found a bit odd was that there are no dressers and limited closet space in bedrooms. It was not an issue for us, we hung some clothes and just used our suitcases. Again....five stars and we would book this property again!

Thank you Carol for the feedback so our future guest will get an idea on what the cabin has to offer for a great vacation. We have since added some furniture to some rooms to make for easier storage. Cable TV has always been provided by the local carrier, SPECTRUM. It works on all 7 TV's in the cabin. I wish I could have helped you all while you were there but it sounds like you have a great group that was able to work things out creatively. :-)

Amazing! will definitely be back!

The cabin was very spacious and great for our big group. Checking in and out was super easy, we got a key code and did not have to stop at any office to check in, even got there a little early and they let us go in because it was already cleaned, leaving was just as easy, locked the door and left. The view was great, I will definitely be back in the fall to see the colors changing thou! The hot tube was very relaxing and its on the lower level so there was only one cabin we could see so privacy was great and bedrooms/ beds were very nice, love the different themes. We went during a slow season and I'm not sure how it would have been during the busy season but the location is only a mile from town and there is an amazing breakfast place at the bottom of the road. The cabin is on a hill so the walk down was great, but didn't realize how much i was out of shape heading back up (would recommend driving). Only thing that we did not care for is the good amount of steps between the 4 levels in case you have elderly but to access the main level, its only three steps. We were blessed to have perfect weather. The dinning room table was my favorite because all 10 of us were able to eat together. The kids got to have a blast on the lower level playing pool, Foosball, and watching TV while we got to enjoy up stairs. Everything in the cabin is brand new and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and there was a decent amount of plates, silverware, etc. We were lucky enough to be the second customer's ever! - highly recommended from my family and I!

Never Again

This cabin was not what we expected. It's advertised as a "luxury" cabin. In my opinion, "luxury" is in the details. There were cobwebs on the light fixtures, in the corners and around the ceiling. There was dust covering pretty much everything. You could sit on one side of the room and look at the dust and leaves under the sofa on the other side of the room. The sliding glass doors upstairs don't slide very easily and the seals are apparently broken. When it's cold outside and warm inside, you cannot see out the windows for the condensation. Since it's between the glass, you cannot wipe it off. When the condensation built up the first night, you could see little hand prints all over the glass. I did not have a child with me. Therefore, I knew the glass had not been cleaned between guests. The downstairs shower floor was very dirty, black in some spots. The upstairs showers had torn and moldy shower liners. The jetted tub in the main bath is old. So it may be clean but you can't tell because of it's age. With that said, I assume it was only cleaned as well as everything else. The furniture on the decks was old and needs to be repainted or sealed. The hot tub smelled very musty so we did not use it. It may have been the cover but I didn't want to take any chances. Since I was charged a substantial cleaning fee, I expected some degree of cleanliness. The cabin is advertised to accommodate 12. However, don't plan on everyone showering. The hot water heater runs out very quickly. We all took a cold shower at some point during the week because there was not enough hot water. There were only 4 of us. This cabin was decorated nicely, but was done so very cheaply. As I said, luxury is in the details. The cabin appears to be in the process of being updated. The front door was replaced but it's not sealed or trimmed properly. The door going downstairs had just been replaced. The wood floors had been repaired but they did not match the original flooring. The nightstands were rough cut 2 X 10 boards on top of stands. The hot tub on the upper deck is right next to the window in bedroom 2 and the motor cuts on every 20 min. The gas fireplace is on a timer. The hangers in the closet are "hotel" hangers and the pictures on the wall are screwed to the wall. This was WAY overpriced for what we got. We also have rentals, just not in the smokies. I was required to rent an extra night because of the holiday and was stunned at the price for the one night. GOUGED!

Folks I take much pride in my cabin and I am sorely dissappointed that you did not enjoy my cabin. Everything I do is to better my cabin to make your stay a PLACE TO REMEMBER and WE want you to want to come back. I assure you that I do not do wrongs on purpose. Unfortunately, you never called us whatsoever to let us know you were not happy. I could write a book on your opinionated concerns, however you did not call us. You also stated you had 4 people when I know you had 6. I assure you that if you had a problem that was of any concern you would have called me and let me help. The extra day rental was your decision because we told you that we had a 7 night min for New Year before you even booked. I did not force you to book the extra night. You state that you are owners and rent also. I would assume you would want someone to call you if they had a situation instead of just summiting a bad review. To all of you that read this review. I only hope you take all the other positive responses that we have gotten and then make your decision from there. Also please remember that communication is #1. Let us help you if you have a situation/concern. I really do want you back to stay with us. I love suggestions because it always helps for your next stay. Sincerely Donald Stoltz owner

Family wedding

We had a family wedding in Gatlinburg, this house was perfect for my children and I to enjoy time as a family while we attended the wedding. The house was spacious and perfect to accommodate my family. The set up was perfect for us to cook, hang out and enjoy family time together. There is a game room, a sauna and a hot tub. This is a great place to stay when in Gatlinburg. The owner was wonderful to work with as well.

We bought this cabin because of the true cabin feel. We like having a sitting room along with a family room and a game room. Something for everyone. We chose this cabin because it is private but yet only 3 minutes to down town and we have all the nature surrounding us on our 1/2 acre lot. We made sure to put all the gaming machines in for the kids to enjoy and high speed internet for those who like to just sit and enjoy web searching. Plenty of acres to hike/walk.
This cabin is only 8 minutes to Dollywood on the bypass which helps when traffic is tough. Grocery store only 2 mintues as well.
So, come and enjoy our cabin with us and we hope you return for many years to come.

We love this cabin because it is only minutes to downtown and minutes to Dollywood......We are also just off the Dudley Creek bypass and it keeps us away from all major traffic during busiest times of the year...
The grocery store is only 1 1/2 mile and so is the Post Office....
