Theater in the Sky is a stunning two-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin rental perched high on a hill overlooking the rolling Smoky Mountains, yet located just minutes away from everything Pigeon Forge has to offer, providing the perfect setting for rest and relaxation.

LIVING ROOM

As you drive up the mountain to this charming cabin, you will be in awe of the natural beauty that surrounds this cabin.

From the first moment you walk in, you’ll be in love with this vacation home. Elegant and serene, it’s truly an oasis.

The living room welcomes you with honeyed-oak planking, soaring cathedral ceilings, comfy furnishings, a fireplace, a flat-screen TV, and views that are priceless!

This space has access to the deck, so you’re never far from being blown away by the sheer beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains!

KITCHEN

The adorable fully stocked kitchen makes it easy for you to care for your family! Whip up some pancakes for breakfast, or bring along your crockpot and put dinner in before you leave for the day. Come back to the smells of a homecooked meal!

All cookery, flatware, and dishes are included for your convenience.

DINING ROOM

The centrally located wooden farm table can seat four and is a great multi-functional space! Bring a stack of board games and have a family game night! Have an Uno tournament—the winner gets first pick for their Monopoly game piece! If you need additional seating, there are four spots at the convenient breakfast bar.

BEDROOMS

The bedrooms have comfy beds, are surrounded by honeyed-oak planking, and are decorated with an outdoor theme...perfect for those seeking comfort in nature!

There is a walk-in shower, there is a jetted tub...take your pick! Open up those windows to let in the mountain air or gaze out while you’re drifting into dreamland. We wouldn’t be surprised if you got the best sleep of your life here!

GAME ROOM

A felted-pool table surrounded by windows awaits you in the living room. Play a game of pool while you bask in the beauty of the mountains! Your stress will melt away here.

OUTDOOR SPACES

This lovely cabin is in Preserve Resort and the amenities are almost endless. All resort amenities are within easy walking distance and feature a wedding chapel, outdoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna, fitness facility, and a Pavilion for gathering around the outdoor fireplace. Paved roads for easy access will allow you to journey to all activities in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

With all the luxury that Theater in the Sky has to offer, you might not ever want to leave the cabin. But if you do, you are within minutes of any convenience that Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg has to offer, from charming local eateries to grocery shopping, to entertainment.

Not what we expected

The cabin was advertised as a two bedroom but in reality it was a one bedroom and a loft. At check in, they had the lock set on a timer. We got there 30 minutes early and couldn't get in until 4:00. The stairs were steep and dangerous. The view was amazing but there was no balcony on the main floor, which was disappointing. We had trouble with the air on the main level a couple of times. We called and they came out and reset the unit. There was not a lot of extras in the kitchen, such as salt and pepper. No cookie sheet or scissors. Not very well stocked. The hot tub needed cleaning. Overall, this cabin was way overpriced for what you get. I will not be staying here again.

Ready the small print.

Cabin is nice. You have to bring your own tp, hand soap and Kleenex. They only provide some to get you through 1 day. The TVs including the theater did not work. We could not watch anything our entire stay. The windows were filthy and trash was in all the cup holders. The fireplace did not work. The septic system I think might be full because it smelled like poop downstairs. We had the service guy come to try and fix the TVs but said he couldn’t do anything about it. Same with the fireplace. Your contact will state no refunds not matter what. If everything was working I would possibly recommend staying here., but not like it is right now.

Perfect cabin and location

I am actually from the area originally and brought my husband, kids, and their friends from Atlanta for the weekend. This cabin is in the perfect location because you are still in Sevier county with easy access to Pigeon Forge but also near Townsend, Cades Cove, and the National Park. Cabin is in great condition and really comfy. Wonderful stay!
