Nature lover paradise overlooking Sarasota Bay, close to Siesta Key and downtown Sarasota. Spacious treefilled yard with adjacent shallow water access to Sarasota Bay with kayaks and paddleboards available. Upstairs the house has a large master suite, two bedrooms with sharing bathroom. Downstairs a loft/bedroom and a murphy bed in the family room. Open plan living room, gourmet modern kitchen. Indoor lap pool and home gym. Ample outdoor space to dine, enjoy the incredible sunsets.

Incredibly private setting with lush outdoor yard, covered lanai, open patio and stunning water sunset views. 3500 sq feet, one acre lot. Well stocked kitchen, outdoor grill, gourmet markets and Trader Joe's within 2 miles make it all easy to dine in -- or great restaurants in the neighborhood too. Stay active on the kids indoor climbing wall, lap pool, yard sports, or 2 double kayaks and paddleboards. It's a quiet escape but also close to beaches and nightlife. Beach chairs, cooler, toys available to enjoy the best sand in the world at Siesta Beach. Our house has been a family compound for 40 years, a treasure you too can enjoy. Perfect for families and small friend groups. Neighborhood and pandemic restrictions limit large gatherings and parties.

Relaxing Spring Break

Quiet, convenient, clean, nice neighborhood, easy access to town or beach. Well stocked with stuff for a family. Bob next door was eager to see that we were well situated. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful property

The property is beautiful, huge trees and a lovely water view. House is large, plenty of room for 4 adults. Great kitchen, comfy beds, close to everything (beach, publix, selby gardens). Our weather was cool and breezy, so we didn’t use the kayaks, but the property is well-equipped for water sports and beach time and also there’s an indoor pool.

Tranquility Nestled in Siesta

AMAZING location to unwind and enjoy nature. The setting and views of this property is simply breathtaking. The house is a beautiful piece of architecture. Our family of 9 enjoyed the house and all it offered, very spacious and has great flow. A beautiful kitchen FULLY stocked, linens, games, water toys, beach towels, paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs…..you name it, it was there. Just bring your clothes & food . Centrally located to the beach and shops. Krista and Bob were an absolute pleasure to communicate with. A true vacation paradise!!!

A little bit of heaven

We love this property so much! The location, the setting, the house – everything! It is so peaceful, yet so close to everything. The house itself has a 60s/70s vibe that has been largely updated and refurbished. So you have this lovely retro feel with very current elements. It is very spacious and has an amazing open flow. We were a multi generational family in Sarasota for a wedding. So the house was perfect to accommodate everyone and so comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen is perfect for larger groups. The master bath is amazing! The long lap pool was so much fun for the young adults. And the big beautiful yard was perfect for our dogs. We spent such a happy time there! The neighbours were so friendly. Frankly, we did not want to leave. This property is an absolute treasure!

Beautiful location - interesting house

We really enjoyed the location of the property - it's right on the bay. The neighborhood is great as well. The house is very unique. Incredible mid-century modern, but it probably needs a little updating. Owners were extremely gracious as well

Wonderful!

Our stay at this property was wonderful. It is probably the best well-stocked house we have ever stayed at! The location was fantastic, access to the kayak and paddle boards was so convenient, and all the beach toys/accessories were great. We would definitely stay here again! It's such a unique and beautiful place to stay!

Always the sign of a good stay when you rebook the property for the next year after only 5 days into the month stay. Nothing short of a great time. The location was perfect. It's going to be a long 11 months.

True luxury in Sarasota

The house was fantastic and was one of the best-equipped we’ve ever seen. We didn’t have a car so the Publix just a half-mile away was especially welcome.

Happy in Sarasota

I was with 5 of my high school friends from all over the US. We loved the property and the views of the sunsets were great, The proximity to downtown Sarasota, St. Armand’s, Siesta Key, Selby Gardens and other places to see was a plus.

AMAZING!!!!!

Yes I am yelling in all caps, this place is AMAZING! It worked so well with 3 adult couples and my three girls in their own little suite. The house is well stocked for cooking in or going to the beach, the pool is fantastic and all the beds are comfortable. Communication with the owner was courteous, kind, and prompt. We will definitely want to come again.

An amazing home!

Our family loved this house! The architecture is remarkable. It was the perfect location for our week vacation in Sarasota (walkable to many things and a quick drive to the beaches). The hosts were very kind, responsive and helpful. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy the beach, kayaking and swimming in the indoor pool. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this special home! We hope to stay again soon!

Amazing Spring Break!

I traveled with my family and met my brother and his family in Sarasota. We were a total of eight and the house was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed, and we were able to successfully cook and have local family for dinner. The large yard, screened lanai, Weber grill, pool, dock, tandem kayaks, paddle board, and beach supplies (chairs, toys and umbrella) were appreciated daily. The owner's father lives next door and was very friendly and helpful. The Siesta Key Beach with unbelievably soft quartz sand is a short drive away with free and easy parking (easier in the morning). It was a fantastic trip! Thank you so much.

Great location and place

Our family of 5 stayed here for our Spring break. The location is great. Easy to get to the beach at Siesta Key and also shopping around town. The house is huge with lots of added pluses. The master bedroom has tons of storage and a huge bathroom. The washer and dryer are located off of the bathroom. The kitchen has lots of storage too. The espresso machine was a nice touch. We cooked in for all of our breakfasts and a couple of dinners. The refrigerator is also large with lots of room for food and drinks. The neighbors are super friendly and helped make suggestions for things to do. We were able to kayak on the bay one day too. The weather was so good, we only used the pool one time. We were planning on using it if it rained, but it stayed sunny. We were also able to use the beach chairs in the garage, which was another great touch. The only small downside was the outside lighting. There were lights along a path to the doors, but we could not figure out how to turn them on. Lots of other lighting made it ok, but the path lights would have been a nice touch. Krista was a great host and helped with all of our questions. We will definitely be back if we visit Sarasota again. Great trip!

Beautiful Home on the Bay

We had a wonderful time at this impeccably furnished home in a hidden and high end neighborhood. Krista was an incredible host. Everything we needed was provided. The backyard was magical with access to the bay and stunning views. The kayaks let us explore the water life. What a great place for a vacation!

Great value for a nice place during spring break

We have family in the area so visit Siesta Key nearly every year over past 20 years or so. Haven't been there for spring break and found ourselves pretty surprised at weekly rates during peak season. Picked out this place as an alternative... it's not on the key so a little more driving, but right on the water and the pool is great for the kids. Nice yard to goof off in and access to the water for kayaking and paddle boarding. We love staying near the village, but given the crowds this time of year it was a great choice to stay away! Good spot for a family or two, plenty of space for entertaining, BBQ, etc.

A very special place!

We could not have asked for a more beautiful home in such a perfect location. The kids loved the indoor pool and the climbing wall in their room. My wife and I loved the layout of the home, with a great screened in porch for bbq'ing. The property and landscaping were amazing, and you can literally paddle boat or kayak right off the back yard.

Wonderful stay in an equally wonderful location

Everything about this stay was perfect! The house is exactly as described, and even more beautiful in person. My family had plenty of space (with 2 people working from home the whole time), everything was clean, well furnished, and a lot of kitchenware provided. The pool is very nice and long, perfect for swimming laps. Floor to ceiling windows everywhere that can be opened and led to the multiple outdoor dining areas. The property itself is beautiful, trees everywhere provide shade and privacy. The backyard leads directly to the bay where you can look around or go directly to the water. In the garage, they give you kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes for you to use (highly suggest you take advantage and take the paddle boards onto the bay!) Bob and Carolyn, are incredibly friendly and were quick to respond to any of our questions. Finally, the location in Sarasota itself is central to everything. You are a mere 10 minutes away from the famous Siesta Key Beach with plenty of fun activities and restaurants. 10 minutes in the other direction and you'll be near the marina (Bay Front Park is very nice to explore). Overall, everything this house and the hosts was perfect. We cannot express enough how great it was! My family and I hope to be back soon.

Magical stay

We loved this property ! We were there a month and the stay exceeded our expectations! House is just beautiful, great space everything but one bathroom is updated. Kitchen was great for cooking for a crowd. The indoor pool area with gym equipment was the biggest surprises! We had a " waiting list " some days to get into the gym ! We had adult children visiting at various times with us and everyone was so happy. The property is so peaceful and serene. Any issues we had with house maintenance were taken care of immediately. Kayaks & bikes enhanced our stay - it was great to have them available. There is a cute little town area that we could bike to for a little gourmet market as well as restaurants. Sarasota downtown Is so close with great restaurants. Siesta key beaches were a short drive away. This is a not to miss property if you are in the area. Krista the owner and her in laws who live next to the property made us feel so welcome We hope to get back very soon !

Rustic charm, perfect getaway

We wanted a quiet place away from the Chicago winter where we could continue to work remotely and relax. Krista’s home was the perfect getaway. It had everything we needed for our daily routines. The internet service was strong and reliable. The pool wasperfect for doing laps. There are additonal gym equipments to help keep active. The neighborhood is perfectly located for easy access to destinations in Sarasota worth visiting. The backyard was awesome for our dog. Most importantly, Krista’s in-laws next door were very helpful and accomodating. We had an issue with the pool temperature and they had it fixed in no time. Our complaints are quite minor...we could not get the garage door openers to work and the bed matresses are too soft (although this is really a matter of preference). Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would consider coming back next winter.

Amazing Stay

Many Thanks to Krista, who is an incredible host. The house is gorgeous, cleaned. All amenities as described are available... the indoor heated pool is a gem... even canoës in the garage. The garden is beautiful. Our kids absolutely loved it. We had a wonderful time! Thank you so much for everything.

Work and Play - Extended Stay

Our family stayed at the property for 3 weeks. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the location is a perfect mix of function and fun. The property is located on a quiet street just a block from the bridge to the Siesta Key beaches, but also is close enough to have quick access to grocery and restaurants in Sarasota. The backyard patio with access to the intercoastal was an amazing spot for an early morning coffee. We used the kayaks, supplied by the owners, to explore the waterways right from the yard. Our seven year old boy was a huge fan of the rock wall in the kids bedroom and playing in the lap pool every night! Our hosts were wonderful, and really personalized our stay by giving us advise on what to explore, and even dropped off some beautiful seashells and a couple books about Florida for our little guy to read. The WIFI was really reliable which was important for us, as we had work and distance learning zoom calls throughout the week. We recommend you check it out!
