This chalet offers both a relaxing break for all the family and an ideal base for visiting the historic sites of Normandy.
Located in a gated leisure complex, you will benefit from shared facilities, including a heated indoor swimming pool (open from April to September), a playground next to the pool, a games room (table tennis) and a petanque court.

The chalet consists of a living room with sofa, dining table and kitchenette, a bedroom with a double bed (140 x 190), a bedroom with two single beds (90 x 190), a bathroom and a separate toilet. The house is situated on a private plot of 200 m2, with a garden where you can relax on deckchairs and have your meals on the large terrace.
At the back of the property is a small shed where you will find a garden table and chairs and a barbecue.
The kitchenette has the basic equipment (fridge, gas cooker, microwave, coffee machine, glasses, plates, bowls, cutlery, pots and pans, etc.) to enable you to cook during your stay. A raclette machine, a waffle iron and a casserole for cooking mussels can also be provided.
The living room has a dining table, a sofa and a TV with DTT. Board games are also available.
The bathroom has a washbasin with storage space and a shower cubicle.
Both bedrooms have a storage cupboard. In the first bedroom, you will sleep in a 140 x 190 bed. The second bedroom has two beds of 90 x 190 each.
The accommodation has a free, private internet connection, which will provide you with an additional entertainment opportunity and/or allow you to work remotely if required.
For your comfort, bed linen and towels (1 large towel + 1 small towel per person) are provided during your stay.
The accommodation does not have a washing machine. There is a launderette nearby (Grandcamp-Maisy harbour, about 800 m away).

The chalet is located very close to the village center of Grandcamp-Maisy, which is a 10 minute walk away and where you will find all the basic amenities. On the way, be sure to stop at the harbour and the fish market, where you will find a plethora of seafood specialities sold by the fishermen directly to the consumer. By the way, if you love scallops, don't miss the annual Scallop Festival in November.
The beach, located 300m from the chalet, is ideal for walking or fishing at low tide, while at high tide, if you are lucky, you may spot some seals.
Cycling enthusiasts can ride along the coastline on the Vélomaritime route, discovering beautiful landscapes and historical and cultural sights. Don't have your own bike? No problem: an electric bike rental station (Stations Bee's) awaits you at the port of Grandcamp-Maisy.
In the heart of the D-Day beaches - situated between Utah and Omaha beaches - Grandcamp-Maisy is an ideal starting point to visit the historical sites of the D-Day landings of 6 June 1944: the Pointe du Hoc site is 5 km away, 11 km to Vierville-sur-Mer to discover Omaha Beach and the D-Day Omaha Museum and 18 km to visit the American cemetery of Colleville-sur-Mer. Arromanches-les-Bains is 30km away, where you can discover the remains of the artificial harbour built by the Allies in the days following the D-Day landings.
Inland, don't miss the charming medieval village of Bayeux and its famous tapestry 30km away, and the village of Sainte-Mère-Eglise 33km away. If you want to go further afield, we suggest you visit the Maison du Biscuit in Sortosville-en-Beaumont, 70 km away.
And of course, you can even take a day trip to the famous Mont-Saint-Michel (1h40 drive to go and the same for the return trip).
