This bright and airy upstairs unit is located just steps from the sand. Walk 2 minutes to the ocean and under 1 minute to the bay! It boasts plenty of light and a nice sea breeze when you open the windows. Luxuriously comfy King bed! Large, sunny, shared rooftop terrace with great views of Mission Bay. We supply you with beach towels, beach chairs, and boogie boards! Dedicated parking spot will fit a midsize SUV.
The parking spot will fit up to a midsize vehicle. Large trucks and SUV's will not fit and will need to park on the street or in a nearby recreation parking lot which is located about a block away at Santa Clara point.

Please note that we have occupancy based pricing in our settings. Please select the correct number of people in your group at the time of booking to get the correct pricing for your stay. Keep in mind, if you add more people to your group after booking the rate may adjust slightly. There is an additional charge of $20 per night for each additional person after the initial 2 people. This keeps our rates low and affordable for our average group size for this listing and helps us charge an appropriate fee for the additional linens and utilities used by a larger group size. Thank you for understanding.

Please note, this home does not have central AC. In the summer months we supply a portable AC unit in the master bedroom for comfortable sleeping. Additionally each bedroom has a ceiling fan. And of course there's lots of windows that provide excellent cross ventilation from the sea breeze.

For guests with infants or toddlers, we can supply you with a pack and play and high chair upon request.

Please note, we no longer supply bikes with this rental. Should you want to rent bikes there is a bike rental shop located right at the end of the court, which under a block away, called Cheap Rentals. They also rent kid-sized bikes, baby seats. and bike trailers, not to mention surfboards, wetsuits and other beach gear. Just mention Mission Beach Villas and they will give you a 15% discount!

You have access to a coin operated washer/dryer that is shared by the other 3 units of the building. Tenant access time is daily after 3 pm or before 10 am. If you'd rather have your laundry done for you there is a laundromat within walking distance that offers drop-off service at an affordable weight based fee. You can just drop it off in the morning and they will have it ready and neatly folded for you by the end of the day.

Want a private bonfire on the beach? We can connect you with a service that offers set up and take down, portable steel fire drum, roasting sticks, hot dogs, and s'mores.

Are you into yoga? There is free beach yoga daily just a 5 minute walk from the property. No yoga mats are required. Just bring beach towels and water and you are all set. (It's donation based so maybe bring some cash for the instructor. )

Want professional pictures on the beach? What better backdrop for a group shot than the stunning backdrop of the ocean or bay at sunset! We can help arrange for an affordable local portrait photographer to do a photo session of your family or group on the beach. Let us know in advance if you're interested and we can make connect you with the photographer during your stay.

The unit is thoroughly cleaned between each stay. However if you wish for a cleaning and change of linens during your stay we can arrange for the housekeeper to come for an additional charge of the standard cleaning fee. Please give us one day's notice so we can get this scheduled.

The security camera is located on the shared rooftop terrace. There are also numerous security cameras pointed at the alley by our neighbors.
Janet & Scott are your hosts. We are a husband and wife team and we live nearby. We own and operate Mission Beach Villas, a highly rated vacation rental management business in San Diego.

We are available 7 am to 10 pm to answer questions during your stay.

Our storefront rental office, Mission Beach Villas, is only 3 minutes walking distance, so if you need anything feel free to stop by! If you have an early flight, you may stow your luggage at our office so you can go to lunch or hang out on the beach until check-in time. And if you have an afternoon flight on checkout day you may also stow luggage. Just coordinate these details with us and we are happy to accommodate.

Before your stay, we are happy to suggest our favorite restaurants, and tourist attractions and will help you get acquainted with the area.
The best thing about the neighborhood is there is so much within walking distance you really don't need a car. You could just take a taxi from the airport (6 miles away), get dropped off here and you're at the beach! We have local restaurants, trendy beach bars, excellent coffee spots, and breakfasts cafes all within a few short blocks. Sea World is just 3 miles away.

- The Heart of Mission Beach -
The location is on the south side of Santa Clara Place (the only traffic light in North Mission Beach). It is equally centered between Belmont Park (the roller coaster area) and Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach.

- Outdoor Activities -
Recreational opportunities abound! It is within walking distance to Santa Clara point where there are numerous recreation activities and rentals available including: stand up paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, windsurfing, catamarans, sail boats, water ski boats, and even jet packs. There are group classes and private lessons available in all of these activities. What's more there are free yoga classes on the beach each day at the end of our court.

There is a fantastic surf spot at the beach for beginner to advanced surfers and great for spectators as well. There are affordable surf lessons offered daily on the beach by our friends at Surfari Surf School. What's more, we can point you to all the best surf spots in San Diego County. And we have two world class board shapers who live on our court in case you want to get a new surf board while you are here.
We offer self-check in with access to a keypad lock to make your arrival as easy as possible.

You will have access to a spacious rooftop patio and BBQ that is shared with the 3 other units of the building. (The other units are vacation rentals so feel free to say hello and make friends with your fellow travelers if you encounter them!)

Your parking spot is only meant for up to a mid sized SUV. A large SUV will fit only if you have good parking skills and park tightly to the building on one side to give you and the neighboring vehicle some door wiggle room and pull all the way forward.
The location really couldn't be better! This second floor apartment in Mission Beach is located just one house back from the bay.

It is positioned in a gorgeous beach community in San Diego. Mission Beach is a super narrow strip of land between the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay. Walk in either direction (West or East) and you'll encounter pristine white beaches. Both sides have wide boardwalks for bicycle riding or walking. On the bay-side you'll enjoy a relaxing sail bay with a calm atmosphere, while on the ocean-side you'll enjoy ocean waves for surfing and a lively beach scene. Either way, you'll call it paradise. We simply call it home!

It consists of two bedrooms. One bedroom sleeps 2 in a King bed. The second bedroom sleeps up to 3 in bunk beds - a twin size bed on top and a double bed on the bottom. Plus there is a sofa bed in the living room to sleep another 2. In total, this unit will sleep up to 7 but we do not recommend it for more than 4-5 people due to the fact that there is only 1 bathroom. The space is 950 square feet.

It has a fully supplied kitchen which offers a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee maker. We supply you with all the cooking pans, dishes, and utensils you might need. There are the usual kitchen gadgets such as can openers, bottle openers and cork screws.

The living room and king bedroom come complete with flat screen TVs. They are equipped with Roku which includes Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and many other channel options available with your login credentials. We also offer free WIFI and plenty of outlets to keep you plugged in.

The unit comes supplied with the basics you'd expect at any hotel like a hair dryer and iron. Plus you have a kitchen, living room and a patio to enjoy. We think of everything you might need and even stock you with beach towels so you don't need to pack those in your suitcase. Why stay at a hotel when you can stay in the comfort of your own home in a friendly neighborhood? Vacation like a local!
