Enjoy the charming setting of this atypical accommodation immersed in nature. In a traditional windmill labeled Fondation du Patrimoine and Vieilles Maisons Françaises (VMF), you will enjoy a timeless stay in a space offering both traditional authenticity and complete comfort. With several views of the sea and the countryside, your room will allow you to contemplate the original frame and mechanism In a windmill dating from 1808, with a small adjoining building, you will enjoy, spread over 46m2, on the ground floor, restored in 2022: a living-dining room paved with granite stones, as well as a kitchen with all the modern conveniences, a bathroom and separate WC. An open granite staircase leads to the upper floors. On the first floor there is a small sitting room which also serves as a study and library overlooking the garden. The double bedroom is on the second floor, the highest living area on the island, with views over the countryside, harbour and sea. The room opens visually onto the mill frame and its original mechanism. There is a garden at the foot of the house, surrounded by meadows and greenery. The mill has all its authentic aspect, but with a layout that respects its history and is adapted to contemporary living requirements. You will have private access to the entire mill and to the garden. Passionate about the island, the mills and this emblematic place, I will be happy to share with you its history and some of its secrets. In the centre of the island, 5 minutes walk from Ker Châlon beach, the site is a protected natural area, and allows easy access by bike to all the beaches and shops on the island. The mill is currently undergoing a restoration of its wings in order to be able to turn again and produce its own electricity.
