Enjoy a part of Sarasota's past in this unique 4 bedroom, 3 bath home situated on a quiet dead-end street, with views of Hudson Bayou. You will appreciate this historic (built in 1923) very private abode which is walled and gated in a park-like setting. The amazing yard features lush tropical gardens with heated pool.

This home offers 2 king bedroom suites each with attached bath. One on the main level and a second full suite upstairs. Two guest bedrooms and one more full bathroom complete the house making this spacious home the perfect vacation space for up to 8 people and wonderful for two families to share.

Visiting this home will invoke a sense of glamour from a bygone era blended with modern updates. The expansive living room has polished Saltillo tiles and large glass windows that bring the tropical gardens indoors. The light, bright kitchen has white cabinetry, granite counters, glass tile backsplash and stainless-steel appliances, with the conveniently located laundry room off the kitchen.

You'll cherish the space and privacy this estate provides while savoring the downtown lifestyle near restaurants, boutiques, and an endless variety of arts and culture. The Ringling House is a perfectly located, historic pool home within an easy walk or bike ride to Selby Gardens, Marina Jacks, Southside village and downtown Sarasota! St Armand's Circle, Mote Aquarium, The Big Cat Habitat & Sanctuary, Sarasota Jungle Gardens, Marietta Museum of Art & Whimsy are all at your fingertips. Lido Beach, Longboat Key and Siesta Key Beach are all between 10-15 minutes away. You will never run out of things to do when you choose the Ringling House as your home base!

This is a residential neighborhood. We ask that you keep music to a reasonable level and refrain from music and loud noise outdoors after 10pm. Thank you!

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION TERMS WHEN BOOKING ON VRBO

At the time of booking your credit card will be charged by BEACH BOUTIQUE RENTALS for your deposit payment. You will also see a separate charge by VRBO for their service fee.

We require an initial 25% deposit with final payment due 60 days prior to your arrival date. Full payment will be due immediately if the arrival date is within 60 days.

Although the VRBO policy states no refunds, we will refund in the event that you need to cancel your reservation prior to 60 days before your arrival date. We will implement our Beach Boutique cancellation policy as indicated on the rental agreement. This allows for a refund of the deposit paid minus a $250 cancellation fee and the original management fee. Within 60 days of arrival there are no refunds.

PET POLICY:

We are DOG FRIENDLY! A fee of $150 + tax is required in advance for each dog you are bringing.

1 pet maximum unless granted an exception. Weight limit of 75 lbs maximum per pet.

Due to property insurance policies and liability concerns NO dangerous breeds or aggressive animals are allowed. The following breeds (purebred or crossbred) are not permitted:

Pit Bull, Akita, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, Malamute, Doberman Pinscher, Chows, Any Wolf-dog hybrid, Any other dog that has been known to have bitten anyone

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Housekeeping will provide a starter supply of toilet paper, soap, and garbage bags but guests will likely need to replenish the supply during their stay.

Our cleaning fee includes a professional linen service. When you stay with us you can rest assured that you will have high quality linens such as those at a fine hotel. We also provide plenty of luxury bath and beach towels.

Sarasota is a family community and the city imposes a strict noise ordinance. Please adhere to our good neighbor policy and observe the local quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am. No loud music or use of the pool is allowed during these hours along with any other noise which may disturb the neighbors.

Great home

Ad cannot be more true; great home, location, pool, hot tub. 2 masters suites plus additional rooms all beds extremely comfortable. Walked to the downtown marina each morning, mins to Main St restaurants and bars. We will definitely be staying here again.

Could have been great

My 88 year old mom was here w me for a wedding There is a lot of fallout from the trees outside Leaves and slippery tree and leaf pieces as well as small coconuts .. a broom was not too much to ask . I spoke to shana about a broom .. I wanted to use as we were headed to a family wedding and wanted to take pictures outside etc .. we wanted to tidy the area at least for pictures . I spoke with her early I was so upset you guys couldn’t bring g a broom over by 4 when we had to leave .. my message said “forget it “ because it was rude of all of you to deny me a simple request As it would have it . She did slip in the stuff outside and fell . The 88 year old women FELL because there was stuff on the patio etc and her cane slipped and she fell … So your lack to deliver if denying me a broom was not appreciated when I wanted 6 hours . For the sake of Susan the owner, you should do a better job of customer service This property has a lot of work to make it worth staying here 1 the pool is substandard .. it was dirty on arrival It was not cleaned prior to my arrival as Brad stated .. verified by pool guy who didn’t show until late on Wednesday 2 the pool jets don't work .. not on jacuzzi either and the lights in the pool never came on I own a in Pennsylvania … I told you guys it needed water .. the kevel was dangerously low for the filter 3 the garage filthy with junk 4 the floors in the house were filthy I went under the bed to find s shoe and it was disgusting The carpet in the upstairs room was never swept prior to my arrival I walked in it w black pants and collected what dust that was terrible The dishwasher buttons do not work .. it only works on 1 setting I fixed the garbage disposal for you .. there were egg shells left in it for us The laundry room was filthy ., the door from the non fixed water heater repair was left off .. and the property was unsecured when we got here .. the repair person left the door open The brown umbrella is broken .. we bought a beach umbrella because the front has no shade The ice maker dies not work .. we bought ice all week. There are paint chip crumbs all over the floors ., the paint is falling off doors I added water to the pool .. your filter would have been fried .. there want enough water for the filter to run .. thru the skimmer .. I Had an extensive conversation w shanna and she was calling the pool company owner .. so I helped you out

A most enjoyable time!

The house was well located and easy to find. A short drive to Lido Beach and tourist attractions. Definitely a great spot for a family vacation.

Very comfortable, and close to downtown.

For being an old property, it was very well maintained. Everything we needed for our extended stay was there. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and it immediately felt like home. We also had our dog with us and he appreciated the large yard. Would stay there again!
