Set on a quiet cul-de-sac just a 10-minute walk from the lake, this rustic yet chic 3BR log cabin is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of every day. Grill and dine alfresco on the forested deck or stroll 5-minutes to our favorite bakery. No matter what season, you'll enjoy the fresh mountain air, hikes, summers on the lake, snow.

We are not just another cozy cabin. We have a MODERN cozy cabin, updated with many modern amenities. We have a brand new small swing set, a brand new water heater, updated appliances throughout our home for an extra comfortable stay.

If you are searching for the perfect mountain retreat for a family vacation with
your young cubs, this place was made with you in mind! Our three-bedroom, log cabin escape is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the insert neighborhood name neighborhood of Big Bear, making it ideal for families.

You’ll find the interior styled with warm wooden accents, beautiful vaulted ceilings, and charming bear themed adornments throughout. Through the front door you’ll be greeted with a spacious dining and kitchen area that includes a four burner stovetop oven, fridge/freezer, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of granite countertop space. Plus, with bar top seating for 4 and a dining table for 8, you’ll be cooking, baking, and hosting delicious
family meals in no time! Cubs love our kitchen bar top area for hot cocoa and ice cream sundae dessert bars.

Adjacent to the kitchen is the living area with two leather couches, two rocking chairs, a smart TV and a wood-burning, stone fireplace. It’s the ideal arrangement for a family game night or cozying up with some blankets and hot cocoa to watch a movie.

There are three bedrooms throughout the house. The master bedroom includes a king size bed and an attached bathroom with a double vanity and tub shower. A separate guest room contains a queen size bed and uses a tub shower bathroom just down the hall.

Finally, we have our (and the kids) favorite room in the house, the Cub Club bedroom! Inside is the granddaddy of all kid sleeping arrangements, two sets of twin over twin bunkbeds, tailor-made for those trips with siblings, cousins, or friends!

The exterior has a number of family friendly features as well. Since we’re located at the end of a cul-de-sac with minimal traffic, parents can rest easy and relax on the front porch while the kids play in the front area. Out back is a spacious deck that includes both a grill and outdoor dining table. The backyard itself has a private, enclosed fence which opens to a larger field shared by the surrounding cabins in the area. The rear deck provides a perfect viewing area so parents can safely monitor as the kids explore. Summer is the
ideal time to play tag or be on the lookout for local birds, and in the winter you can find little ones running through the snow and building snowmen/snowwomen/snowkids.

If you’ve got a little bit of adventuring in your plans, our cabin is walking distance from Big Bear Lake, in addition to several nearby hiking trails.

For those on the hunt for an even bigger thrill, we are a short walk from the Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain, a family fun park overlooking Big Bear Lake thats open year round. In the summer it boasts waterslides, go
karts, and a roller coaster, while in the wintertime they bring out their alpine bobsled slide and snow tubing hills for the daredevil in everyone!

OR - you may opt to sneak away with the older bears and visit Big Bear Lake's new Yosemite AXE-Throwing. Yes, axe throwing.

Of course it goes without saying that we are only a short drive away from all of the other attractions that Big Bear is known for. The Snow Summit and Bear Mountain Resort slopes are within 10 minutes and the shops and restaurants of The Village are a brief 3 minute drive away.

KITCHEN + DINING:

Prepare delicious meals in our modern kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The kitchen and dining area is a family favorite and spacious for cooking and family meals as well as game night.

Enjoy casual breakfasts, appetizers, cocktails or an ice cream sundae dessert station along the kitchen bar seating area.

LIVING AREA:

The living room boasts vaulted tongue and groove ceilings, a Smart TV and a wood-burning slate stone fireplace.

BED + BATH

Our King bed / primary bedroom, has with direct access to the back deck. The en-suite bathroom is a full bathroom with a tub / shower combination.

Our second bedroom has a Queen bed.

Our third bedroom for your kiddos is the perfect slumber party room for your littles / aka Ositos (little bears). This room has two twin-over-twin bunkbeds.

The guest bathroom also boasts a tub/shower combination.

OUTDOOR SPACE

The beautiful back deck offers beautiful tree views, a gas grill and dining table while the fenced yard adds extra convenience and comfort for guests traveling with children.
