The road to the house and driveway are steep therefore in winter months a vehicle with all-wheel or 4-wheel drive is REQUIRED from late November through March. Drive to the quaint town of Grand Lake in less than 4 miles (5 minutes) or 5 miles (7 minutes) to Rocky Mountain National Park. Outdoor activities Hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, golfing, skiing, snowboarding, and the local favorite of snowmobiling are all at your fingertips from this home. Avoid the Denver ski traffic, 20 minutes to the Granby Ski area, and 45 minutes to Winter Park. Snowmobile trails nearby, and a great location for ice fishing too.
