It's a perfect location where you can walk to the Little Italy Farmer's Market or head the other direction to Balboa Park. Book your stay today and create unforgettable memories in this spacious and stylish retreat.

The Space:
As you step inside, you'll immediately notice the abundance of natural light that floods the home, thanks to its big windows and ample sunlight. The tastefully decorated living room boasts plush leather sofas that provide both style and comfort. For added convenience, one of the sofas can be transformed into a pull-out bed, accommodating additional guests.

Adjacent to the living area is a connected dining room with seating for six, perfect for enjoying meals together or hosting intimate gatherings.

The well-equipped kitchen (one of two) is a great space, featuring new appliances and plenty of counter space. Whether you're preparing a quick breakfast or cooking up a feast, this kitchen has pretty much everything you need. The first floor is home to one of the bedrooms, complete with an ensuite bathroom for added privacy and convenience. Additionally, a large screen TV in the living room allows you to unwind and enjoy your favorite shows or movies during your stay. Both TVs in the home have Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+.

Heading upstairs, you'll find two more bedrooms, each with its own balcony offering lovely views of the neighborhood. The second floor also boasts an additional living space with a comfortable futon, as well as a dining area, and another TV, allowing your group to spread out and relax. For added convenience, there is a second fully equipped kitchen upstairs, complete with a fridge, microwave, stove, sink, and dishwasher.

Closet space is abundant throughout the home, ensuring that you can unpack and settle in comfortably. This property is perfect for both leisure and business travelers. If you need to work remotely, there is a dedicated desk and chair available, allowing you to maintain productivity while enjoying your stay.

Guest Access:
You'll have access to everything you see in the photos! Every corner of this home has been thoughtfully designed to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.

On the morning of your check-in, you will receive an email containing the lock box code and any other relevant details for a smooth and hassle-free entry.

Please note that the property has another home in the back of the parcel that is sometimes rented out separately.

The Neighborhood:
Situated in the desirable neighborhood of Bankers Hill, San Diego's famous Little Italy is just a 7 minute walk away, known for its restaurants, art walk, and Saturday farmer's market. You can also easily walk to Balboa Park, a vibrant urban oasis offering numerous attractions, museums, and outdoor activities. The property's convenient location provides easy access to the airport, making your travel experience a breeze, while the bay, downtown and the convention center are just a few minutes away by car.

Top Suggestions:

- Walk to Little Italy and grab dinner at Ironside. Then, grab some ice cream at Salt & Straw.
- Spend some time soaking in the sun at La Jolla shores
- Rent a bike and ride through Balboa Park
- Catch a baseball game at Petco Park

Getting Around:
The home has a private driveway with room for two vehicles, and you're also welcome to park on the street in front of the home. It takes about 15 minutes to get anywhere in San Diego from the home by car. Alternative transportation options are Lyft, Uber or the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System.

Other Things to Note:
This home is available for stays longer than 28 days but only with approval. Please submit an inquiry but do not instant-book this home for longer than.

Please be aware of the potential for noise from the nearby airport, since the home is within the flight path and close to the highway. Noise is muted when all windows and doors are closed, but can certainly be heard when outside.

The property has another 1br home in the back of the parcel that is sometimes rented out separately. Feel free to contact us about renting that one as well!

You will need to climb stairs to access the upstairs part of the home.

As your host, I prioritize the enjoyment of your stay while also respecting the safety and comfort of our neighbors and community. Before confirming your reservation, please review the following list of property rules:

GUEST
• For security purposes, guests who wish to make a reservation must have a completed profile on Airbnb, including a clear photograph of your face (so we know the person booking is in fact the person checking in).
• You must be at least 25 years old to reserve our property.
• Check-in is 4PM or later. Check-in instructions will be sent via email the morning of your stay
• No illegal activity or illicit substances are permitted on the premises: Doing either will result in eviction from the property, and may also result in law enforcement involvement.

PETS
• Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at the property.

DAMAGE
• We understand accidents happen. In the event of damage occurring at the property, we require that all guests report any and all damage during their stay, prior to check-out.

SMOKING
• Our property is 100% smoke free; including both private and communal areas, the unit itself and any other public areas within the building and the communal property regardless of whether inside or out. You must be totally off of the premises and on public property to smoke. If you're a regular smoker and feel you'll have a hard time following this rule we kindly suggest you look into another property. Evidence of smoking will result in a complete forfeiture of your security deposit. Smoke remediation is extremely expensive (+$750) and you will be held responsible. This goes for cannabis as well. Please just don't do it!

EVENTS & GATHERINGS
• We have a zero-tolerance policy for noise complaints, parties or gatherings of any sort. Please respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. QUIET HOURS are daily from 10PM-8AM.

SECURITY
• This property has video surveillance in outdoor public areas to ensure the safety and security of all guests. Additionally, this property may also use Noise Aware technology to ensure that noise does not exceed a specified decibel level and will disturb our neighbors.

VISITORS
• We ask that all guests let us know in advance if they plan on having any visitors during their stay. You may not have additional guests unless previously authorized by the host.

FILMING & PHOTO SHOOTS
• If you or your company are interested in utilizing the space for film, television, music video or photo/film shoots of any kind, please contact us via the message portion of the site to discuss details, approvals, pricing, etc.

PLEASE NOTE
• Guest agrees to hold the Host harmless against any and all loss, claims, causes of action, demands and/or costs and expenses that may be incurred by the guests in relation to the unit rental. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items. Subletting the property is strictly prohibited.

• We highly recommend our guests purchase travel insurance to protect them against any issues that would cause a guest to have to cancel their trip. This house has a ton of history and personality. It's location is the best part - equidistant to little Italy and Balboa park, two of my favorite places in SD. This house is situated nicely for guests to feel like they have privacy and shared spaces to enjoy together.
