Secluded Mountain Home:Family & Pet Getaway w/ on-site Hiking Trails Valley View

Escape to our serene retreat in Mountain Ranch, CA! Nestled in the breathtaking Sierra Foothills, our modern 300-acre home offers panoramic mountain views. Inside, enjoy a full kitchen, Smart TVs, an office/work space, a cozy king bed, and a view-filled bathtub. Step outside to a BBQ deck, outdoor games, on-site hiking trails ranging from moderate-difficult level, a captivating seasonal waterfall and creek, and friendly goats + a mule just down the road to visit! We are a perfect central location for a day trip to Yosemite National Park, Lake Tahoe or the Bay Area!

The space:
Inside includes: 1 King bed (master bedroom), 1 queen size bed (blue room), 2 full & 1 single-size bunk bed (orange room). Full equipped kitchen, SmartTVs allowing easy streaming service sign-in, wine wall with bottles to purchase, kids toys/coloring material , board games & cards, laundry room with detergent provided, work space/standing desk + mounted monitor to hook-up to, telescope for star viewing, yoga matts, corn hole set, bathrooms with cotton body, washcloth, and make-up towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, bath soap, lotion.

Guest access
All space provided EXCEPT the garage area which is locked up. Please stay out of the white fenced area attached to the garage.

Check-in is at 4pm | Check-out is 11am.

Furry Friends:
Welcome to our pet-friendly Vrbo property! We happily accommodate pets at a charge of $25 per pet per stay (3 pets max.). Please let us know if you are bringing your animals when confirming your reservation. If failure to book your pet/let us know ahead of time, a $50 negligence fee will be added to your stay. You can use our large outdoor kennel next to the garage, and kindly pick up and dispose of animal waste outside. Come and have a delightful stay with your furry friends!

Remote Workers:
For remote workers seeking a productive yet comfortable environment, we've thoughtfully created a designated office space that caters to your needs. Our electric standing desk, equipped with wheels, offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in our home. Whether you prefer a change of scenery or need to catch the best natural light, the space is yours for your productivity needs. Plus, we provide a mounted computer monitor that you can easily hook your laptop into. Stay connected and efficient while enjoying the convenience and comfort of our remote work-friendly space. Your productivity knows no bounds here.

Caves and Gold Mining:
We are located in 'The Mother Lode Country' of California's Gold Rush stretch! Explore our property and find historic man-made walls, and venture out to the one and only California Caverns located just a stone's throw away in our backyard! We conveniently are located near Mercer Caverns and Moaning Caverns Adventure Park. It's the perfect activity for the whole family to visit and enjoy!

Vineyards and Wine:
Calling all wine connoisseurs! Surrounded by vineyards, wineries, and picturesque wine towns, our property offers the perfect opportunity and location to indulge in wine tastings, vineyard tours, and exploring charming boutiques nearby. Head out for a Saturday afternoon wine tasting at our local vineyards and feel free to bring back a bottle to enjoy on our patio at sunset! We offer wine bottles at the home from local vineyards to purchase as well if you don't feel like leaving!

Golf:
Our property boasts a private golf driving range, allowing you to perfect your swing in absolute seclusion. For your convenience, we provide complimentary right-handed clubs so you can enjoy a hassle-free experience. Additionally, we have bags of golf balls available for purchase on-site. If you prefer using your own clubs and balls, feel free to bring them along as well!

Hiking and Sight Seeing:
Our property offers a multitude of enchanting hiking trails (some still in the works) that wind through the valley side, offering picturesque views at every turn. Immerse yourself in the soothing sound of seasonal creeks (February-August) flowing alongside the paths, and a stunning seasonal waterfall that cascades down the foothills creating many sitting pools. After a long day of hiking, find yourself down in the valley to cool off in the many swim spots!

Bring the kids:
El Dorado Escape is a family-friendly home and space that is perfect and convenient for any family getaway. Inside the home, we offer kid-friendly kitchen utensils and toys & games to keep them company! Bring them down to the farm to visit our on-site goats and mule! (Please notify an on-site manager to come see the animals, and we will be sure to have them placed in an accessible pasture to view and feed!).
