Familie tømmerhytte Lake View, Beach, Grill, Pontoon og kajakker på All-Sports Lake

En ekte (flott, stor) tømmerhytte i skogen, med loft, stor overbygd veranda og privat strand!

Denne hytta / hytta (bygget i 2002), ligger på en mye skogkledd mye på Townline Lake i Big Rapids. Det er et vakkert, fullt tømmerhus som lett sover 20 i senger i tre etasjer, og har noe for enhver smak. Vi har sovet mer enn 30 komfortabelt ved å bruke sammenleggbare møbler, barnesenger og luftmadrasser i den romslige walkout-kjelleren.

En 10-fots bred dekket, wraparound veranda gir ytterligere 600 kvadratmeter sommeroppholdsområde, med en fantastisk utsikt over innsjøen og stranden, ildstedet, sving, dekk og flåten. Legg føttene opp på Adirondack stolstøtter, eller spill kort og brettspill på piknikbordet, og se dagen gli bort.

Stranden er sand perfekt for babyer og småbarn. Vi har en flåte 150 meter fra land, hvor du kan svømme og leke i krystallklart vann borte fra barna som leker på stranden.

Hytta har to fulle ildsteder, inkludert en med en fantastisk 22 fots stein skorstein i hovedetasjen.

Den lodge på 3 500 kvadratmeter har tre etasjer.

Hovedetasjen har kjøkken, stort spisebord, stue, halvannet bad og to soverom. Gangkjelleren har en annen stor stue, med fullt bad, stort soverom, vaskerom (lite fjerde soverom) og liten garasje / arbeidsområde. Den åpne hemsen har en dronning og tre dobbeltsenger, og flere enkeltsenger som er perfekte for de små å oppleve hyttelivet. Men ikke bekymre deg for støy fra første etasje - at frisk luft vil slå deg ut - og barna - i det øyeblikket hodet ditt treffer puten.

Et flygel, kortbord, lekeområde, utsikt over innsjøen og en liten balkong er også tilgjengelig på loftet.

Personvern og ro er nøkkelen til denne hytta, som er gjemt i skogen bare fire mil utenfor Big Rapids, Michigan.

Innsjøen all sport er perfekt for fiske, tubing, ski og svømming. Og med bare ti hus prikket rundt innsjøen, er vannet vanligvis ditt.

En pontongbåt med fiskemotor, padlebåt, padlebrett, robåt og kajakk er alle inkludert i leieprisen din. (Bare mellom minnedagen og arbeidsdagen)

Wonderful time at a truly great lodge

We had a great time, as we always do at Loon Lake Lodge It was a little cold and rather rainy but that just added to the time we could spend playing games and enjoying each other company.

Great vacation!

Great vacation home. The house is beautiful and easily housed our children and grandchildren -18 total. We loved the pontoon boat and lake. The hosts were friendly and responded quickly to the one minor issue. The air conditioner stopped and was repaired by the next morning at 7 am. Many thanks for a great vacation.

It was a great vacation home for us! Lots of kids that loved the beach and amenities offered

Thank you for everything. Home was great. We mostly used the beautiful beach area and the pontoon that was provided. The lake was very weedy in a lot of areas and the beachy sandy water only went out a little ways, after that it became a little mucky but we had a wonderful time. We would most definitely go back.

Memory-Maker Get-away

This great "Mitten" location and beautiful great lakes setting was ideal for both our family bonding time and business get-togethers. The comfortable amenities, abundant conveniences tucked into a "Pure" Michigan log cabin setting. Many very happy memories surround us encouraging us to return again and again. Summer waterfront, canopied walks on rustic roadsides, or brisk winter ice skating, snow-shoeing, and roaring fires. Owners are always ready to make sure our stay was the most memorable possible.

Beautiful property

What a wonderful place this is! We had our family reunion at Loon Lake Lodge which included 20 people ages 12 to 72 and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The pontoon boat is a really nice plus included in the rental. We used it almost every day. Other benefits were the paddle boards and kayak. The beach area is very nice. It's not a huge area but has nice soft sand and a beautiful view! Just in case you have someone in your party with mobility issues, you should know there are quite a few staircases to deal with. There are 3 levels to the lodge so be prepared. It was nice having all the levels. The teens stayed downstairs with the ping pong table and they were able to enjoy some space of their own. And the porch...WOW! We enjoyed it all day long and into the night and even set up a few dinners out there. Thanks to the Hillmans for being so easy to deal with through the rental process. We really enjoyed our stay.

Thank you Paul & Carol for our Awesome time at Loon Lake Lodge

Our family of 13 had a great time at Loon Lake Lodge from June 20-25, 2023. There were 8 adults & 5 children ages 1-9. We had LOTS of room to spread out. The grandchildren loved sleeping in the loft with their Nana & Papa. But we spent most of our time outside. There is a beautiful deck with a porch swing & a picnic table that is perfect for doing crafts (We always have two crafts for the little ones to do as a keepsake for the vacation we take together as a family every year). Most of our time was spent in the water though. They have a wonderful sandy beach area & sandy swimming area for the little ones. Many toys for them to play with, including a small slide for them to slide into the water. There was also a couple swing sets they had lots of fun on. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy campfires because of the burn ban but there was much firewood provided if we had been able to. We also enjoyed our rides on the pontoon boat. We brought our own tow raft to pull the little ones & to our surprise they also had one there for us. They had MANY water items. Our 3 older grandchildren (9,8,and 6) & our “big kids” had a great time on the paddle boards. The lake is actually quite weedy past the swimming area. But once you get through the weeds, there is a lot of clear water out by the raft, which our family also enjoyed jumping off from. We were afraid at first that the weeds might scare our grandchildren but they paddled right through them with no problem at all. We had a great week

Loon Lake

The Loon Lake Lodge was an amazing stay. The property was full of activities on the water and inside the cabin. The cabin had something for everyone to enjoy and enough room inside to comfortably house all our guests. Whether you want to relax and enjoy a secluded stay or a large family weekend the Loon Lake Lodge will accommodate all your needs.

Great Lake Experience

The cabin was great - a good place for having fun and gathering together. Wonderful big deck, which we spent a lot of time on. Great for a big family get-together. Kayaks and paddle boards both got lots of use.

Loon Lake Lodge Vacation

Our family vacations together every summer. This year we stayed at Paul & Carol's Loon Lake Lodge. Our kids said it was the best vacation yet! (Last year we had a great beach house on Tybee Island so this is saying a lot!) Loon Lake Lodge is beautiful and surrounded by God's beautiful handiwork!

Family weekend

We had an awesome weekend at the loon lodge, the cabin is absolutely beautiful . Our grandkids had so much playing in the water and the sand . And we truly enjoyed being able to have a fire down by the beach and in the cabin at night . Everyone enjoyed everything about the lodge . Would highly recommend it for anyone wanting a family gathering .

Perfect getaway!

The property was just as described. We had a 16 guy bachelor party, that just wanted a relaxing boys weekend with some fishing and we got what we asked for! Communication with the owner was great. There are cameras that we were worried about but never did we think the owner was "spying" on us or going to stop us from doing anything during our stay. The only bad things would probably be all the pollen on the porch that we had to clean ourselves before we could use anything, and the driveway was a muddy path that could have used some more gravel. We had some guys with Corvettes and they couldn't get up half the driveway.

Peaceful and Beautiful

I absolutely loved my stay. It was so relaxing, quiet and and a joy. My favorite part was having a cup of coffee in the morning and looking at the lake, in the quiet of the morning.

Ferris State Graduation

Our family stayed the weekend at this lodge for Ferris State University graduation. The home was great and very cozy. We had a fire in the fireplace every night. They had everything we needed to be comfortable. Only recommendation would be to bring slippers/house shoes with you as the wood floors are very slippery!

Beautiful Property, Accommodating Host

A group of friends stayed at the Loon Lake Lodge for a weekend to celebrate our beautiful bride to be and it was absolutely wonderful! The house is awesome with plenty of space for guests and activities. The property is absolutely gorgeous with easy lake access, a great fire pit, and well-kept trails for walking through the woods. The wrap around porch was our favorite feature and where we spent most of our time. There was an issue with the water heater which was entirely out of Paul's control. He did everything he could to resolve the issue while we were there, but unfortunately it was a problem that required more time to resolve. Paul was very apologetic and issued a partial refund for the inconvenience which was very thoughtful and hospitable. I am grateful for his gracious hospitality and willingness to resolve the issue as best he could. Even with this minor issue, I would absolutely stay again at the Loon Lake Lodge. Thank you for a great weekend!

Awesome weekend on the lake

We had 24 guys stay here for my brother’s bachelor party and it was perfect. There was plenty of space for everybody and lots to do. The only complaint anybody had was that we stayed for two nights instead of three. I highly recommend staying here.

Amazing Stay!

Would 10/10 recommend staying at the Hillman's Loon Lake Lodge! Our group consisted of about 21 friends and couples around 26-30 of age. We get together annually for this trip and usually in different places around Michigan depending on where people are located for jobs each year. This was our first stay with the Hillmans and the whole group loved it. The lodge was large and easily accommodated our group for sleeping, as well as hanging out. We were blessed with perfect weather so we didn't hang inside too much, but if we got rained out there is a giant wrap-around covered porch, a large great room/kitchen, a large mezzanine space, a game room in the basement, not to mention a fully stocked game closet. Our favorite space was the sandy beachfront down the path from the lodge. It was after Labor Day so the pontoon wasn't available for use, but there is a public access next door that you can drop your own boats in and tie them up to the dock. The lake is not heavily populated, we were one of maybe 5-6 houses on the lake. The Hillmans provide paddle boards and kayaks that were a hit. There's plenty of fishing rods for those in your group who don't bring their own. At night, there is a fire pit near the beach with plenty of seating to end your day. Overall, fantastic stay and would 100% recommend to others. Thanks again Paul & Carol!

We come every year with the entire family. As i’ve Said in previous years, it is like going to Grandma’s house. This year was even better because we brought 90 year old Grandma Margie and she absolutely loved being with her children, grand children,and great grandchildren. We love this place and treat it like our home.

Review of Loon Lake Lodge

Wonderful getaway for family. Our family (14) stayed comfortably in the cabin. The kids (ages 13-5) were never bored. They were always playing with the water toys or board games or games in the house. Adequate kitchen area. Hillmans are very easy to work with. Would recommend!

Secluded legitimate log cabin cottage / home on small inland lake

The entire family enjoyed our experience at Loon Lake Lodge on Townline Lake. Owners recently installed lighted pathway from cottage to lake; very nice touch of elegance. 3 bedrooms to sleep 6-7 and additional guests sleep in open loft area. Never found the big fish but lots of little to mid size bass and pike.

Great place for large groups!

Reserved this place for a large group for a fun weekend. The cabin was EXACTLY what we needed. Access to a lake, a boat, plenty of things to do, and plenty of space. Paul was extremely helpful and I would definitely consider this place if you are planning a large get together! Thanks again Paul!

We built this as a vacation spot but have turned it into our year-around retirement home. We built it because we enjoy entertaining large groups, and have frequently had church groups or friends up for weekends. We’ve had as many as 42 people overnight, with 20 adults on beds and 22 children on air mattresses or in sleeping bags on the floor. We also have room outdoors for people who prefer to pitch small tents.

If you are looking for a real log home with a calming, rustic feel, this is the place! You can actually feel the tension melt away the moment you set foot on the 10-foot wide wraparound porch, and plop down in an Adirondack chair overlooking the lake, or in the porch swing. The lodge is perfect for company and church retreats, family reunions, etc. Big Rapids isn’t actually “big” – and that’s part of the charm, too. But it’s big enough – near Ferris State University and small-town shopping.

Our private dock and pontoon boat facilitate your fishermen's yen to get out on the water. The deep porch lets you get outdoors and remain comfortable, even when it’s raining. We have ping-pong and foosball tables in the walkout basement and a great shuffleboard game for teens and kids of all ages. The fire ring down near the lake is a perfect gathering place for your throng to enjoy some special time together (with marshmallows!) at night, and benches easily seat 16-20 people. Firewood is provided as part of your rental.
