Welcome to Merlot on Mary!

The Space:
This charming and elegant home conveniently located in Picton, Ontario, and tucked off on Main Street on a quiet side street, this 3 bedroom 2 bath is sure to be a great spot for your vacation.

With its original wrap around porch, and original details, this home has loads of space for everyone to enjoy. Its large dining room leads to the backyard, where there is another porch for enjoying the lush and spacious backyard.

Architecture lovers will swoon with the area as it has many lovely homes and churches lining the street.

This home was built in 1914, and still has many original features, from window pane side porch, and the stained glass details and columns it feels modern with a touch of the past for character. Close to all the shops and restaurants, grocery stores and schools.

New additions: Fire Pit outside, wood not provided and a Games Room with Foosball, Darts and Card Table.

This home is fully licensed as per Prince Edward County STA bylaws. #ST-2021-0244
The bylaw stipulates the maximum capacity of the property is 6 people.

The Neighborhood:
Prince Edward County is a very special place. You may find yourself here one weekend, falling in love and moving permanently, a large number of people have. Affectionately known as "The County" the area is comprised of small villages and hamlets scattered amongst farm fields and quaint shops.

Located in Lake Ontario you will fall in love with the people, the food, nature, and art.

The area hosts 3 provincial parks and over 800km of shoreline.

Getting Around:
Visiting Prince Edward County does require your own vehicle. There is no public transit or Uber in The County, although we do have a number of taxi companies and car for hire services.

Great house and location

Loved the look and feel of this property, a great holiday house. Central to picton for excellent dining opportunities. We were 3 couples and all had adequate space. We made good use of the roomy hot tub and the barbecue. 2 minor points there was no iron and we had no key to the games room. However would totally recommend this property.

Merlot on Mary

Great older home in a convenient location in Picton. We enjoyed the hot tub, the large rooms in the house and the old features like the Tiffany lights and wainscoting.
