Definitely Wouldn't Recommend

It's cheap and I know not staying at the Ritz but you should have a nice stay if the owners cared about their property. That wasn't the case here. 1st I had booked and paid for the week on Hotels.com. The man that checked me in barely spoke English and told me I didn't have a reservation. I had trouble with the app so I couldn't pull it up. I called my wife and she checked and said it's there and paid for but he insisted and charged, I did get it refunded 2nd I informed them that the toilet lever was broken, light bulbs were out and the tub didn't drain. They never came to fix anything. I stayed for 2 weeks so I finally fixed the toilet, I had to take the drain out of the tub but I refused to buy light bulbs for them. 3rd a continental breakfast was to be served well it wasn't like any hotel continental breakfast I've ever seen, so I just got my own. 4th I came back to my room after work and housekeeping left the door to my room wide open not left ajar, but WIDE open! When I said something they just shrugged their shoulders and said it's fine nobody went in there. 5th The whole time I was there I never saw a vacuum cleaner ever in 2 weeks. And as far as clean rooms that's debatable as to what constitutes clean. This hotel was much closer to my work but I found a Ramada in a better area that wasn't far away and cheaper. It's clean they have a nice breakfast the staff is nice, helpful and speak English. I wouldn't recommend anyone else stay there either.

First night lights stopped working when I awoke in morning. Room was not maintained/cleaned. Moved to another room when I returned second night. This room was not cleaned well. When I went to shower in the morning, I found prior guest clothes hanging on back of bathroom door. Good thing the beds were comfortable and I got some sleep. First time I've had bad experience with Ameribest

You sunk into the bed. Only provided you with 2 towels. The free breakfast included old muffins and coffee. Staff not pleasant.

Awful

Room was in terrible shape! Markings on the wall, beer bottles on the side of the bed on the floor. Towels were dirty. A brownish orange stain on the bathroom wall. I'm assuming it was blood. I was scared to walk across the carpet in my bare feet. This place needs a total do over or closed down.

No telephone that worked in room. Air conditioner was not functioning properly. Room was okay for price. Bed was comfortable. Room finally cooled down at night. No ice bucket in room. No coffee pot. Linen were old and stained.

You get what you pay for. This place is good.

It's a used Motel. It has seen better days. Are the towels, and bedding "fresh?" No. Have they been washed and cleaned? Yes. It's in a great location, if you're on a budget and don't mind overlooking that the place has been used, it's a good deal. I got the impression that this is a Mom and Pop family business, and they were quick to try to make things right without complaint or attitude on their part.

Will not stay there again

Room was clean, no hot water in the bathroom sink, one wash cloth, no cup or glass for water, bath tubs picket stood out around two inches from the tub wall. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in ever and I’ve done some traveling. I would of moved but I had my dog with me and wasn’t sure which other hotels took animals.

Very disappointed

I have never written a bad review on a motel. The tv remote only picked up so many channels. Several channels had to be manually typed in. The wifi was terrible. Our room was apparently too far from the lobby to get a signal. I did see lady bugs crawling on the window. And breakfast consisted of muffins and coffee only and the coffee pot was empty.

Stay Away

Was told upon arrival that they couldn't find my reservation, and then all of a sudden they had it, but I had to pay. I had payed through Hotels.com when making the reservation (always, always, always). Finally, after a half hour wait in locked entryway talking through the glass, and a call to the Gold Rewards team we got our room. Room was adequate, about what you would expect for the price, but linens were well worn - time for new sheets and towels. Hot and cold breakfast buffet consisted of a thermos of coffee (the hot), and prepackaged pastries (the cold). Just keep looking, Vicksburg is full of hotels - you can find a better one.

The worst hotel I ever stayed at

Unfinished dirty unpainted bathroom, Mis matched towels, cheep, not enough pillows on a king size bed. Noisy, looked like the kind of place that rents by the hour!

Bed was uncomfortable. Only 2 flimsy bath towels. Dont know why Expedia chg'd us $86. The guest ahead of me paid $60! Neither of us shd hv pd over $50.

hatten kurzfristig umgebucht, da wir die Hotelkette u.a aus NY kannten. Das Zimmer war okay,die TVs wurden gerade gegen Flachbildschirme ausgetauscht + waren in der Lobby zwischengelagert,was auch nicht gerade einen guten Anblick bot.Deshalb war wohl auch die HoteltĂŒr abgeschlossen, als wir am frĂŒhen abend einchecken wollten. Schlimmer war aber das der Rezeptionist angetrunken war und er erst nach langem suchen unsere Reservierung fand.Zum FrĂŒhstĂŒck gab es nur Kuchen und Kaffee, von HĂ€usern der gl. Kette waren wir ein vielseitigeres FrĂŒhstĂŒck gewöhnt.

Horrible Hotel

Went to check in and the desk clerk had herself locked in the building a 4 in the afternoon. She could not find my reservation. Upon entering the room we found it to be filthy, stuff splattered all over the walls and it was dark and dingy. The shower was leaking at the spickets and at the shower head so there was no water pressure. They must have a theft problem because they issue you a tv remote with your room key.

Oh what a night

First off let me say I would not kennel a mangy dog here. If there had been another room available in Vicksburg, I would have demanded a refund. There were dead bugs in all the pictures between the picture and glass. The floor was so filthy that it would turn your feet black if you walked barefoot. The tub was very dirty as was the toilet. The bedding was so bad that my wife and I went out and bought sheets to keep from sleeping on theirs. Lysol is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you choose to stay here. I used a whole can, but still felt like I was sleeping in a bad lab experiment. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Das Zimmer roch muffig, es war total verwohnt und schmutzig. Im KĂŒhlschrank waren klebrige Überreste der Vorbewohner. FĂŒr den Preis haben wir doch etwas mehr erwartet.

Mixed Review

Stay began unpleasantly. I had booked rooms months before on Hotels.com. Walked into the lobby and told the gentleman at the counter that I had a reservation for two rooms. His immediate response was "No rooms. We are all booked up." After much argument and repeated showing of my reservation papers (and thank goodness I printed and brought them), we got two rooms. They were a little worse for wear but otherwise comfortable and reasonably clean.

Not at all what I expected

My stay at this motel was very disappointing. The door was locked when we arrived to check in. I rang the bell three times and no one came to the door. I called and then someone came. When I told him I wanted my money back or my card not to be charged he refused. The hotel was not what was pictured on the sight. The room was clean but when I went to get in the shower there was mold on the shower curtain. We checked out very early and will NEVER stay there again.
