Great stay in a lovely apartment. The location was perfect for us, quiet but with plenty of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Check-in was easy, and communication beforehand was excellent with some great local recommendations sent via email. Highly recommended and would happily stay at any of the Coeo properties in Malaga, the standard was that good.

The apartment is located in a quiet area but very close to the old town. The room is small but it has everything you need. And the bed is very comfy. The staff are responsive to your questions through the app. The only one thing I don't like about the room is the air con. It is not cold enough and I feel a bit stuffy at night. Expedia has 'Netflix' in the 'Entertainment' descriptions but there was in fact no Netflix service but just the app installed in the TV.

If possible I would give it 4.5 stars. The communication was very quick and smooth and the Coeo team was very kind and always checked if everything is good. If there was a problem, it has been looked at it / solved quickly. The apartment itself is small but has everything you need and was clean. It is also well located, especially next to a big supermarket

We were expecting more of this accomodation, taking into account how it was advertised beforehand and its price. The room was NOT soundproof at all, which made our stay unbearable, both me and my wife were hardly able to get any sleep at all. Earplugs could not help either! You could hear everything from the street, the hallway, the floor above! Has anyone from the management of Coeo Frailes spent at least one night here, to check how significant this issue is? I bet not! Also water was leaking in the bathroom and kitchen. Basics like towel racks were missing from the bathroom and we found a few bugs, too, which is concerning. Communication with the host was good, the location central, bed was comfortable and kitchen well equipped, but if you want to get some sleep here, I would avoid this accomodation. The overall impression was that the focus was on designing a nice apartment, which fades away at the expense of basic needs.

Overall a lovely stay. Pros: The staff were fantastic with great communication and easily accessible via Whatsapp and the 24/7 hostel reception. They were very helpful with luggage storage, taxi booking, etc.. 10/10 for the staff for sure. The apartment was also very nicely designed and in a perfect location, right next to great eateries, coffee spots, and a supermarket. An easy and quick walk into the busiest parts of town, while situated itself on a quiet street. Cons: There was a rather terrible smell emanating from the drains. Not sure if this is just because we were on the ground floor, and I think drainage is a problem throughout Malaga, but it was quite bad. We also only had the room tidied once in our six night stay - a little more often would be nice. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for the in-room coffee maker, as we love coffee very first thing, but we kept running out of pods and when the room was refreshed the pods were not. We didn't need masses of coffee, but I think it's reasonable to expect one to two cups per day per person. A minor point perhaps but one that had us needing to get dressed and go out when we would have rather lounged a little longer.

Superschönes Zimmer. War auch sauber. Perfekte Lage. Nur das mit dem Frühstück war irreführend und leider etwas enttäuschend. Vom Essen her nicht. Das Essen hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Nur der Ablauf und keine große Auswahl. Man konnte sich aufs Zimmer essen bestellen was sehr vorteilhaft ist oder man müsste zu einem Partnerbistro laufen. Man kann sich pro Person nur ein Getränk und ein Sandwich auswählen. Was sehr bedauerlich ist, da in der Ausschreibung und in der Buchung Frühstück mit inbegriffen steht. Und nicht begrenzt. Da geht ja jeder von aus dass man so viel frühstücken kann bis man satt ist. So hätte ich auch ohne Frühstück buchen können, damit es günstiger ist. Schade. Der Rest aber wundervoll.
