Great weekend getaway with my husband. It was peaceful and beautiful place to stay. The bed was absolutely comfortable than any other hotels I've been at. Only wished that they had more food options.

Very nice place! Has almost everything for a resort. Could use a nice restaurant. And a massage service. The ice cream parlor has short hours, and only available on weekends. Parking was good. Very peaceful. We will stay there again.

The room was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. A very peaceful and relaxing environment. We loved the history of the resort and the fact that there were so many amenities.....the hot tub, pool, restaurant, lounge, library, ice cream parlor, and activity room. The staff were wonderful. We would definitely stay again!

Room and hotel were very clean. Staff was great. Bed was very comfortable and room was large. Had a “grassy” place in the balcony for a dog to relieve themselves so you wouldn’t have to walk out. Only thing was the included breakfast was not great. I’ve had better at econolodge. It’s great if you like coffee, waffles, and cereal.

We had a great stay. I couldn't get over how big the hotel rooms are. Double the typical hotel size room for sure. Clean rooms and sound proof. Hotel was booked solid for our weekend there and I didn't hear anyone through the walls or doors. Only thing I could complain about is that the bar/restaurant stop serving by 7:30pm so we had to drive 15mins to find a place to eat. Overall, I would stay there again but plan to arrive earlier because everything closes so early in the area.

Excellent & Charming room and lobby. Great food in restaurant. Great breakfast. Lots of green space. Just one complaint, hey were unable to print me a receipt. They have not emailed it either as yet.

Rooms clean but old. No hot water for the showers, it was just warm enough to shower. The pool area is very large and great for kids. We didn’t golf this stay and it was their first weekend open for the season I was told.

No idea who give them 4* The hotel advertises itself as a 4-star property, but my experience was far from that standard. Housekeeping was poor, the dishes was extremely dirty, most restaurants were either closed or only open until 7:30 PM, and the elevators were old and extremely slow. If this hotel were honestly rated as a 2-star property, I would gladly give it 5 stars for meeting expectations. But when you promise 4-star quality and fail to deliver, the rating has to reflect that.
