Great place to stay for Linlithgow & Edinburgh. All staff very friendly, rooms are really nice and well equipped. Bed is extremely comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at Court Residence. The owner/host was very welcoming and friendly upon our arrival. Our room was very clean, nicely furnished, nice amenities. The hotel had provided in-room breakfast items that were extremely helpful and convenient! The train station is just a very short walk from the hotel. Linlithgow Palace and the town square are almost across the street. There were some nice little pubs and restaurants right within walking distance. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. We would highly recommend them!

Fabulous find

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Booked as a last minute stay, and was really impressed. Space for the kids to move about, very clean, very friendly lady on reception. Would stay again- even just to use the shower as that was the best shower I have used in a long time.

We loved that Court Residence was safe and secure. The building was welcoming in appearance and staff we met were very hospitable and keen to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Although the weather was awful we felt very warm and at home in our suite. Great place to relax, cater for yourself if need be and just relax. Would thoroughly recommend this property.

Great conversion of the old Sheriff Courts

We really appreciated the thoughtful conversion of this former Sheriff Courts building into several high quality apartments. Right in the centre of Linlithgow across from the Palace, everything is on-hand and there’s convenient on-site parking too. Our Executive suite was a large bright room with high ceilings and all mod cons. The only disappointment was probably the ‘basket breakfast’ which we felt could have been a bit more inviting, given the room price. In the middle of July, when there’s so many fab summer fruits in season, apples and bananas were a bit dull. As was the standard loaf and little packets of cereal. I’ve stayed at B&Bs with more interesting offerings. A second niggle was the bed sheets that didn’t quite fit the beds. Odd and annoying when they constantly slip down during the night to reveal the mattress protector. I didn’t feel they were the best quality cotton for the price charged either.

I've had my fair share of hotel stays, but wow. Court Residence was something else! The room, service and location was top notch! The bed, the size of the room, the waterfall shower head, the breakfast hamper, the small kitchen in the room, the TV on the wall, the toiletries, everything was lavish! Absolutely loved the stay here. Not too far from Livingston, Edinburgh, Glasgow and local amenities were brilliant too! We'll definitely be back!

Lovely property, attentive staff. The only negative is that the loo is on the first floor, the 'living room' and kitchen on the ground floor and the bedroom below it, so if you have to get up in the night, you have a couple of flights of stairs. There is a bed in the room just outside the loo, but it hadn't been made up.
