Great location, great view, great pool!

Would definitely stay here again -- great location, great view, and great pool! Place is well-stocked with towels, cookware, etc.

The view really is this good, book it

Spacious place, gorgeous views very close to beach. A real gem. One advice I'd give is update the bedding (including pillows) and get rid of the plastic mattress pad. Rest is well furnished in kitchen, laundry with beach chairs boogie boards etc. Didn't want to leave.................

Great Location

This unit is a short walk to the pool and, beyond that, a short walk to Poipu beach. The view from the upper deck is awesome and that is where we had our coffee every morning. Was a bit too hot to sit there in the afternoon sun, but we did go out to watch the stars at night. Lovely furnishings and just enough to prep meals in the kitchen. Would stay here again for sure, as long as I can navigate the stairs in and out of this second/third story unit. Thank you!

Sitting pretty in Poipu

Great location with nice ocean view. Unit was large and well stocked, beds comfy and unit was clean (accept for exterior of fridge - rust and stains which took some elbow grease to get better). The only downside of this unit was the upstairs got very hot in the afternoon and the small a/c unit was not able to keep it cool and units very loud - usually 80+ degrees by 4pm even with window coverings closed. Also the upstairs lanai had no cover so could not sit out there when full sun - noticed some other units had awnings or umbrellas. The downstairs lanai was covered/shaded but this was off the master bed so a little awkward sharing with other couple I was travelling with, but minor issue. I have stayed in Poipu Kai resort area a few times and loved the location of this building to swimming pool, parking, beaches, etc. Good size unit for 4 people. Issue with in suite dryer, but maintenance on it as soon as informed. I would also suggest that a hair dryer be put in guest bathroom and a mirror in the guest bedroom. All in all, pretty sweet place!

Great location, terrible mattress

The townhouse itself is great - spacious and sunny, with an incredible view of the water. The kitchen is well-appointed, and with large rooms and three bathrooms there is plenty of space to spread out. While the decor definitely looks like it's from the set of the Golden Girls, it all works just fine as a vacation rental. The location is also great, close to restaurants, some great snorkeling, and easy access to other parts of the island. Our very significant issue was with the king bed in the master bedroom. Lumpy and somehow slanted on one side, my husband spent much of the first night sliding to the edge of the bed - the experience was similar to camping, when you can't find level ground and spend the night constantly adjusting and re-adjusting to make yourself flat. It was so bad that we we spent the rest of the vacation sleeping in the two twin beds - at least they were flat - but not quite what we were after for our romantic Hawaiian vacation. One other thing to note is that there are indeed portable air conditioners in the living room and master bedroom, but when turned on, they were quite loud. This wasn't an issue for us - we visited in February when it wasn't too hot, so didn't use the air conditioners much - but if it was summertime and we needed them on all night, I expect it would've been difficult to sleep with the noise. On return visits to Kauai, we would very happily stay in this unit again if there was a new mattress. But without knowing that for certain, we'll be finding other accommodations.

January 2017 Stay

Wonderful stay. Lovely condo, stunning lanai views of the ocean, palm trees, and beach park. Huge well equipped kitchen. Clean, lots of towels and toiletries. Easy close parking. We've stayed in Kauai 6 times and this was one of the best places. Only things to improve would be a mattress topper-the bed was very hard. And have someone sort out all the electric wires and cables in the living room and master bedroom, they'd be a hazard if any children stayed there. Thank you to all the kind and friendly staff.
