Good layout in apartment. Sofa bed was very comfortable. Shower was amazing. Very close to the train station which was great. Delicious bakery just a few steps from the door and a good City Carrefour not too far which was ideal.

Very nice room - we ended up in the rooftop room, which has a great little terrace. To keep in mind, there is no elevator and up to four flights of stairs. We could have had access to spa and there’s a nice lobby with free coffee. Very close to train station.

Loved the room/apartment

Checkin was friendly and competent. Breakfast was good, too. I loved the apartment - it was bigger than my home apartment in NY. Everything worked well. One suggestion: a full-length mirror.

The apartment was excellent and quiet, with all you need for longer stay. Staff friendly and helpful and location near metro and trains was a plus ((hint: use side entrance via metro entrance and escalators to avoid the huge number of front steps in front of station). The stairs to apartment were always going to be an issue with no lift, but prepared for that. Felt a little unsafe at night with locals using front entrance as seating whilst eating and smoking but nothing serious.

There is no lift to go 3 rd fl also the receptionist is very rude he doesn’t know how to speak politely when we asks for extra pillows and towels he seems very annoyed and when we talk to him he seems always annoyed and doesn’t not want to be bothered. Lots of beggars outside and what’s up with the graffiti all over the place?

Handy for the railway station, literally 3mins from the building you can be on the platform. Little disappointed with the utensils in the self catering apartment, a reasonable selection of pots & pans are pretty useless without a knife to prepare anything with, & not even a bottle opener. And the shower cubicle needs some attention as the door doesn’t close properly causing a flood if you’re not extremely careful. But on the whole, for the price, a reasonable stay, let down by 1 or 2 basics.

I liked staying in what was really an apartment with a separate bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bathroom. What I didn't like was walking 40 stairs up to the second floor with my luggage since this older part of the building has no elevator.

Our apartment was perfect for our needs. Check-in at the hotel next door was a breeze, and the staff was excellent. They even offered free espresso from their machine in the hotel lobby even though we were staying at an apartment next door. The location of this property merits ten stars. It is essentially across the street from the Marseille St. Charles Train Station, which makes Marseille the perfect "base city" for travelers using a Eurail Pass. We stayed four days at the apartment and took two separate day trips--one to Arles and another to Avignon. From the apartment, we walked to the old town, the incredible historic wharf, and even to Notre-Dame de la Garde (although that is quite a hike for anyone at any age). Our apartment overlooked a large tree-filled square at the foot of the train station and was just a few blocks away from a nice little grocery store where we purchased breakfast items and also some items for a few dinners (we like to have our main meal at a nice restaurant for a leisurely lunch with a bottle of wine). The apartment had a nice sized living room with a kitchen and eating bar, a comfy bedroom, and a two-room bathroom with the toilet in a separate room across the hall from the room with the bathroom sink and a huge shower stall. Ample fluffy towels were provided and were easy to keep dry with the towel warmer. Also, the shower was by far the best shower in any of the hotels and apartments we stayed at during a three week trip in Europe.

No communication, nor reply to messages. No housekeeping as advertised (for 3 days). No laundry facility as advertised. Shower door cannot close. Bed very uncomfortable. Will not return.

Appartement bien placé pour tous faire à pied. Avec un véhicule il est conseillé de réserver une place de parking proposée par l Hôtel. Logement convenable pour 4 personne. La Propreté laisse à désirer. Personnel accueillant et très sympathique. La salle de sport est bien équipée. Le buffet petit déjeuner avait l air top .

Appartement rénové mais on dirait de la rénovation fait maison, de piètre qualité. Appartement d'après la réception au deuxième étage sans ascenseur, quand on ouvre la porte, un troisième étage surprise. Difficile de monter les valises et couloir très étroit. L'escalier qui arrive en haut est dangereux car on peux vite tomber dedans en sortant de la chambre. Il faut vider les poubelles avant de rendre la chambre. Réception et petit dejeuner à l'hôtel Alex à côté, rien à dire. Réception ouverte 24/24 h, petit déjeuner qualité prix ok, garde les valises au départ et à l'arrivée gratuitement.
