Large Quiet Unit

While the units are older, they were very nicely furnished and clean and great space. It was nice to have two separate bedrooms and multiple bathrooms as well. Loved this stay

2 bed condo was great for family of 4. Units were mostly clean albeit dated and a little worn down from age. Beach access with .25 mile trail was great! Pool was closed which was a major bummer. I would consider again but only if pool was open.

The location and quaint facilities are great. We didn’t need extra services but the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, we were surprised that the buildings and grounds are quite tired and weathered looking and although the rooms were clean and comfortable the carpet was dirty. Minor issues but worth noting.

Property is in disrepair. Slider would barely open. Mattress broken down. Trash left outside our unit upon arrival. Windows thilthy. Furniture and cupboards felt grimy.

The site needs a few comsmetic updates and is currently under contruction. Buttt - listening to the waves, before bed, from the Pacific made my stay simply amazing & I highly recommend walking down the beach! What a gorgeous view!

Our place is huge! So much room! Very clean! Friendly staff person and so helpful! The property is doing some construction right now but it’s not been a problem and will be great when it has been completed. We would definitely stay here again and definitely will tell others about Schooner Landing.

Tis property is really over do for a face lift inside and out. It does appear that there is some maintenance construction in progress which is better late than never. Peeling paint on the outside and very dirty carpet inside, The bed was very comfortable and the only positive inside and a good view outside.

Schooner landing beach

Suite was very nice and spacious. Kids loved the beach and the rooms. It was lots of fun. We wanted to stay longer but would’ve had to change suites. We booked on hotels.com and and when we got there the office lady told us we had more taxes to pay and that there was a glitch in the system that didnt charge it when we booked it online. So thats the only negative thing i can say. Overall very nice experience

Property was clean, a little dated but everything was fine. The pool was not working and I didn’t get that information until I had booked it. They sent an email after I booked it letting me know and that they had an alternative pool. When we got there there was not an alternative and it seemed like there hadn’t been a pool option for awhile which was a reason I booked this property. That was disappointing.

As a traveling family of four we really appreciated that the room we rented had two separate bedrooms and that each had a bathroom. It was nice to have a kitchen and a shared living room/dining room with working (automatic gas) fireplace. The property is ageing and is constantly under a slow renovation process. That being said, construction didn't start too early (8:30am) the days we were there and it wasn't overwhelming. Pool was not available, but that is not something we needed. The unit had a jet tub (which could accommodate 1.5 adults) and we enjoyed that. The room cleaner was excellent and the front office staff was welcoming. Someone called us part way through to ask us if the stay was to our liking and that was a nice customer service experience. Overall, it was good value for the money and space we needed to spread out and relax.

The carpets were super dirty and stained and the furniture had a greasy feeling to it. Probably because neither furniture or carpet have ever been cleaned. I found "clean" blankets to put over the couch and a chair in the living room to at least have something clean to sit on. There was a soft spot in the living room under the carpet like there might be a hole in the floor. A banister leading down into the living room was loose. Who looks at the condition of the carpet and furniture and thinks this is okay for guests? I felt dirty and grimy the entire time I stayed there. Will not be staying there again.

I liked how sleculded this property felt being by the main road. But this property is geological nightmare and one of the buildings is slipping downward and sinking into the cliff downward towards the ocean. The property is rundown and the condominiums are flithy dirty inside with stained dated carpets and lighting fixtures covered in rust. Gross dirty walls and cabinets. The windows are moldy covered with rusty blinds. The porch was less to be desired and view of storage containers and a excavator. Just really dated. The office staff was nit attentive to our needs and claimed to try to get a hold of the property manager as we wished to get our money back and not stay as our children were having to sleep on an air mattress, wven though it was advertised that the unit had a murphy bed for the additional guests. The furniture was old and covered with hair and there was bugs all over rooms. Just a 1 out 10 stay. Will not be back. Plus the slipping building and geological hazards around the property as you drive in is not safe. Should be shut down.

The scenery is gorgeous and the condo was great. I expected construction so that was fine. But, no wifi despite it being advertised for the property. I called the office and they said “yeah we know about the problem. Maybe you could drive into town (at 7:30 pm) and find a restaurant with fee wifi”. Very disappointed since I had work I had to do and Couldn’t. Plus my parking space was not near the condo in pouring rain and was unpacked and not marked. Overall hurt what was otherwise a good trip b

The property was great. I did not know about the construction until after I paid for the room. The room was great. I just wish I knew it was under construction before I confirmed. I would stay here again, as long as the work is done.
