The staff and the location make Fairways on the Bay an excellent choice! Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful at every turn. And the hotel is literally right across the street from an outstanding beach and right beside a string of excellent restaurants. A great stay!

This guest house offers all what every tourist dream about when arrives to Capetown! The view on Table mountain, lions heads on the beach... what you need more?! The rooms are comfortable!

Fantastiskt läge i Camps Bay Cape Town. Nära stranden och dess promenad. Frukost på intilliggande restauranger ( med voucher Men de om inte igång förrän 0930. Lite sent. Många trappor. Inget att rekommendera för handikappade. Men helt OK för priset!

Perfect location

We had a great stay at the Fairway on the Bay. The place is a nice, old building with only bedrooms. Very comfortable ones. The check in is at another place. The very small pool is also at the place next door and the breakfast is served at a third place, towards a voucher that you get at the check-in. Unfortunately the value of the voucher is not enough to pay for a breakfast with a glass of juice and a coffe. For that you have to pay some extra rands. The place has a fantastic location, you can actually not ask for a better location - that one is unbeatable!

Our stay was comfortable .. the accommodation was good in that room had a great view of the beach and mountain ..but there was no lifts to the rooms and the pool was at another place .. the overall experience was still good

Location was awesome, breakfast voucher you could use anytime that day! We had 3 rooms all together felt like staying in a house, but older and bathroom floor slippy. Staff very nice. Felt very safe.

Great location and very friendly staff who were really helpful. Bedroom big and very comfy bed. Bathrooms very tired though and in need of refurbishment. Our toilet flush broke a couple of times. Overall a very pleasant stay.

room (lions Head) needs net curtains for privacy as its overlooked by apartments across the road. Apart from that we enjoyed it. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and always cheerful. They made the stay a wonderful experience. The hotel itself was a beautiful historical house, with a modern, tasteful and luxurious decor. I would stay there again! The location was ideal as well, steps away from the beach and strip.

Amazing location in Camps Bay - AWESOME cafe!

I had an extra night in Cape Town and wanted an inexpensive room somewhere in Camps Bay. The value of my stay blew me away. The woman working at the front desk was so lovely and helpful. Upon checking in, she gave me a handful of vouchers for the cafe next door called Mynt where i went and had the best burger in my life (for free). The bedroom was huge, the shower was small but i honestly wasn't looking for anything more in that dept. The property was right across the street from the ocean and couldn't have been better located. I wish i had more time in Cape Town just so i could stay here again. 100% would recommend to a friend.

Very good experience for our stay

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. It is well located in front of Camps Bay beach and has many restaurants nearby. Our rooms was on the second floor and there were no lift service. Fortunately, the hotel staff was very helpful and help us to bring our luggage to our rooms. We felt safe to park our car within the gated compound. Parking could be a test of your driving skill when it is nearly full. We were given a meal voucher of 250 Rand for breakfast at Mynt Cafe next door. But it only open at 9am during winter time, So, on the suggestion of hotel staff, we took our breakfast at another cafe one block away. 40 Rand for a set of Sandwitch and coffee. The voucher was used to offset our dinner at the Mynt Cafe instead. The hotel manager was friendly and accommodating, she was kind enough to extend our check out hour by 1-2 hours. Overall, a very good experience for our stay.

Holiday in Camps Bay

The hotel has an excellent position, on the first line to go to the beach; Camps Bay is amazing, the beach is great and has plently of bars, restaurants where you can go eating; as mentioned, the position of the hotel is amazing, the only limits i see are: breakfast is outside the hotel, you get some vouchers to be spent in a bar that is just attached to the hotel; what i find a little concerning is the behaviour of the waiters of the bar where you have breakfast, that constantly expect to get a 10% tip; other thing to improve are the windows, to be honest they should be changed..we had some windy days (35 km/h) and basically was impossible to sleep, we were even fearing the windows could break; another thing is the TV, would be great to have more channels and in general a little of maintenance to the room equiplent should be done, for example the wardrobe had the nails outside in some points: on the other side, the staff is extremely nice and as i mentioned the position is super
