Wonderful property manager, Athena, and a literal angel for house service, Melina. Both so responsive and kind. You get what you paid for, beautiful property, gorgeous view from the roof, nice amenities. If you struggle to walk or can’t handle short bursts of physical activity, you will dislike walking to/from this property. It’s truly not that bad, but I’m very active and can absolutely see some people struggling after a full day of adventures around the island. At least the view is nice!

My partner and I had the loveliest stay at Santorini Soul Villas. It is the perfect place for a little getaway. We loved the village of Pyrgos, it is was quiet but still had everything we needed and was perfect to escape the crowds. The villa itself is clean and beautifully styled, we felt so comfortable and safe. Finally Thomas and his team were so lovely, Thomas helped us to check in and gave us tones of great information about the island and the maids were lovely too! 10/10 would recommend. Thank you so much for our perfect stay!

Amazing! Came here with my wife on our honeymoon and it was fantastic. Alex helped us with everything we needed. The rooms were super cool and clean. The hot tub on the roof was totally private and had the most incredible views of the island. The only thing to keep in mind is that there are many steps to get from parking to the villas, but the do provid a donkey for the luggage! We would definitely come back.

The accommodation is very modern and corresponds to the photos. The kitchen, on the other hand, is rather sparsely equipped. The utensils are sufficient for frying an omelette for breakfast. The bed is very soft and comfortable. A nice mattress topper ensures this. The highlight is the terrace with the whirlpool. It is great fun to end the evenings with a fantastic view. You should be aware, however, that the way to the accommodation goes up a steep hill that you have to climb on foot. If you are not good on your feet, you should not choose this accommodation.

Very pleasurable stay! This is a private accommodation, as long as you communicate to arrange your arrival all should go smoothly. Our driver picked us up from the airport as planned, Irene the property manager was there to check us in and someone was available to carry our luggage to the property. The place is very modern, well designed and immaculate. A cleaner came daily and provided fresh towels and replenished refreshments. The roof top hot tub is the icing on the cake. Private with amazing views of the sea and sunset. Yes there is a steep hill to get the property but that’s clear from all the reviews. Most will manage fine and shouldn’t put you off. It’s worth it at the top to have the magnificent views. Local town is the cutest too great shops and restaurants close by.

This is a unique propery in that it is located within a medeival city fortress that has been preserved in much of its original form. The town of Pyrgos is a stunning example of how present and past coexist. Santorini Soul Villas is part of this rich historical archaelogical site which includes a castle at the top. The streets, slips, and pathways are rustic with steep inclines, so Soul Villas are a great choice for adventure seeking travellers who want an authentic experience. Make sure you are prepared to hike on various terrains, and have a good fitness level. You will carry your luggage to the villa, unless you ask about getting a donkey to do the uphill haul. Advice: pack light. The food, the people, and natural beauty are worth staying here. The villa was beautiful and had all we needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was amazing. Christina, the host was so helpful and made our check in easy. Thanks!

READ THIS REVIEW!!!! This property is situated on an undeveloped hill, just to get to your room is absolutely INSANE!!!! Extremely steep, very long route up many undeveloped rocky stairs!!! There is NO WAY you can take luggage up to your room, must carry as ground is rocky and incapable of rolling luggages. The route is up a very long route that is soooo extremely inclined, its a HIKE up and soooo exausting. Im a young atheltic stong man, i felt sooo bad for my wife eho had to walk this daily, and i had 2 Large luggages with 2 carryons i had to carry up!! They do not have a any lobby, or concierge, ANYONE to help you. There is a host that will be your contact, she said she can order a donkey service to help up the hill to your room..... they should just have this prepared knowing tourists come with luggage and not charge extra let alone have guest wait for that to ever arrive???? Unreal the way this was built and i must share with all future guests the excruaiqting walk up the hill to just get to your room.... ive included photos of how long this uphill route is..... now room was clean and nice, although filled with mosquitos (we went in September) .. they should have zappers or repleent candles in the room. Theres very minimal ventilation so room gets dampy. Anyways overall they get a 3 stars for this unbelievable daunting route just to your room (and back daily)

This is a lovely property with a stellar views and a romantic hot tub for two on the deck. However, there are drawbacks. Walking up a steep drive followed by steep stairs, followed by rough terrain path with luggage in the hot sun to be told we could not enter the air conditioned apartment until we completed the check-in form, by hand, get passports out for info etc was frustrating and started us off on the wrong foot with this property. It could have been done in advance digitally. Anyway, we did a bit of cooking though limited conveniences in the kitchen. It is set up for coffee making with a small refrigerator, double burner. The welcome bottle of bubbly was a nice surprise and took the edge off once we got over the threshold of the front door. The upstairs bedroom and deck are sexy and watching the sunrise from the hot tub was definitely memorable. We enjoyed it for what it was but for such a highly finished property, the access to it leaves a lot to be desired.

Where do I start? We arrived at the property 1 hour 20 minutes after the check in time. We had to walk up a massive hill to reach the property ( if you’re not an athlete you’re going to struggle ) we couldn’t get hold of the manager and had 2 suitcases with us, so we began to find it on our own. Finally we found it only to walk into the villa to see the poor cleaning lady rushing around ( she was the best part of the experience ) when we arrived, there was broken glass all over the floor, it was a complete mess, and the worst thing it smelt of smoke so bad ( we are not smokers). With a wedding the next day this was not ideal as we didn’t want our clothes to be smelling of smoke. When I rang the management to explain all of this, I was replied with “ what do you want me to do about this, the weather is bad “ granted it was windy, but when you pay for a 5* experience you expect a 5* service. As everyone left the villa we began to check it out. Only to find poo stains in the toilet and the bath disgustingly dirty from the previous guests. At this point we were tired and drained and just wanted to sleep. It was not all bad. The days got better, they planned a lovely engagement for me, and the assistant manager and cleaner were a delight. But not to be compensated for the smell of smoke for 2 straight days or the arrival mess we walked into was simply not correct. But the area is very quiet and the views are stunning. Big thanks to the cleaning lady and the assistant manager.

Positiv: Aussicht, modernes Design, bequemes Bett, erstklassige Badartikel, im schönen Pyrgos gelegen. Negativ: Man merkt in jeder Beziehung, dass die Betreiber der Soul Villas nur auf das Geld der Touristen aus sind. Die Apartments sind wohl schick, aber seelenlos und ohne Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Minimalste Küchenausstattung, keine Weingläser, es reicht knapp für 2 Personen u. eine einfache Mahlzeit. Sonnensegel auf der Terrasse war nicht montiert, Sitzsäcke fleckig. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war ebenfalls, wie schon von diversen anderen Gästen erwähnt, absolut unerfreulich. Infos/Anweisungen im Befehlston, sehr kühl und abweisend. Beispiele: Ich bat um eine wärmere Jaccuzzi-Temperatur (da April und abends recht kühl) und bot meine Hilfe zum Einstellen der Temperatur an (mein Mann ist aus der Branche). Doch die Antwort lautete, die Temperatur sei fix auf 30°C festgelegt, und falls ich es wagen würde, daran etwas zu ändern, hätte ich mit unverzüglichem Rauswurf und rechtlichen Schritten zu rechnen. Die Jaccuzzis hier eignen sich also nur im Sommer zum Abkühlen; keinesfalls von Oktober bis Mai (während meines Aufenthalts betrug die gemessene Temperatur sogar nur 24-27°C). Abends sitzt man da keine 5 min. drin. Des weiteren wurde meine verabredete Ankunft einfach vergessen, ich stand vor verschlossenen Türen. Ich würde diese Unterkunft aufgrund meiner Erfahrungen niemandem empfehlen - woanders auf Santorini erfährt man echte Gastfreundschaft, aber nicht hier.

Die Unterkunft an sich war sehr schön, der Weg dahin sehr sehr unpraktisch vor allem wenn man Koffer dabei hat. Die Umgebung war etwas abgelegen ohne ein Fahrzeug kann man sich nur schwierig hin und her bewegen. Im Haus selber war alles immer sehr sauber, was sehr unsicher war sind die Treppen hoch zum Pool bei denen ich am letzten Tag ausgerutscht bin und den Rücken sehr verletzt habe, sehr unsichere Treppen. Das Negative ist dass der Check out am Morgen erfolgt was ziemlich blöd ist wenn man den Flug erst am Abend hat, man hatte uns auch keine Möglichkeit gegeben die Koffer in der zwischenzeit in der Villa zu deponieren oder uns irgend ein Vorschlag gemacht was wir nun den ganzen Tag machen sollen "es gibt ja genügend Möglichkeiten" Auch bei der Ankunft bekamen wir keine Hilfe die Koffer hoch zu tragen, war ein bisschen undankbar

A total must stay!

I have stayed at many hotels world wide and this was hands down the best place I’ve ever stayed! A little off the beaten path, due to its height you have an amazing view of both sides of the island. The property was very large with a 7 ft long tub and a rain head shower. Each villa has its own hot tub with a view of the ocean, great to relax in after a day of exploring the town which is a 12 min walk away. Great food in town to enjoy while passing all of the churches in the area.
