The apartment is clean and has appliances. A grocery store is nearby. There is easy access to public transportation, and parking is available. We will stay here again if we return to Iceland.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It’s great to have a kitchen area so we could cook a few meals and more space to spread out. Host communicated often. Great location for the highlights of Reykjavik!!! Highly recommend!

Apartment smelled like a sewer when water in shower was turned on. Absolutely horrible. Nice location but doesnt make up for bad smell.

Die Wohnung ist an sich ganz nett, aber das Licht draußen brennt ständig und man kann es nicht ausstellen. Die Wohnung an sich war leicht beschmutzt, die Tapete hatte an manchen Stellen leichte Schäden, Tische hatten Macken usw. Positiv ist definitiv der Kühlschrank und das Kühlfach, die Parkmöglichkeit direkt nebenan und die Umgebung bzw. Nähe zum Meer.

Nice apartment with some room for improvment

Apartment as such good, nothing really to complain about, but some less positive details put the rate down a bit. Cleaning ok, but some forgotten items from previous guests (a pacifier in the kitchen cabinet as example) decrease the rate. The drain in the shower was more or less clogged and nothing who held the shower upon the wall. The flat is situated below ground surface, no issues with that but the entrance with the stairs is really in need for some renovation, actually more or less the whole exterior needs to be renovated. WiFi stable and very fast, large TV, kitchen equipment ok, everything needed is there, large fridge and excellent induction hob. Comfortable beds and despite situated next to the street, no disturbing noice in the flat. Parking easy to find for free in the streets near-by. Silent and safe area. Communication and service from the hosts perfect, a few things was sorted out by phone really fast and efficient and all information was sent in advance with a friendly tone. Location itself a bit outside the city centre, but walking distance and also public transport possible to use. All in all price worth stay and if some minor things will be fixed it’s a great place.

Is op zich een goed en fijn appartement op goede loopafstand van het centrum (ca 30-35 minuten). Appartement beschikt over volledige keuken en het is fijn dat er een afzonderlijke badkamer en toilet zijn. Wat wel jammer is, is dat het zowel in de badkamer als in de slaapkamer ontbreekt aan haakjes om handdoeken en kleding aan op te hangen. Het appartement beschikt over slechts één kast om spullen in op te bergen en dat is een legkast, echter zonder planken. Zeker bij een iets langer verblijf dus niet praktisch om je spullen in op te bergen. Daarnaast is sprake van afbladderende verf en missen de rolgordijnen touwtjes om ze mee op- en af te rollen. Dat komt niet overeen met het gegeven dat het appartement in 2017 volledig gerenoveerd is. Op zich een goed en fijn appartement, maar op sommige aspecten niet echt praktisch.
