A serene, pleasant resort away from hubbub of Ubud

In the rice paddies 4.5k outside Ubud this is a lovely tranquil place, and with free use of bicycles and free hotel transfers into Ubud, everything is at your disposal. Breakfast is al la carte and has to be ordered the day before, as does traditional Balinese evening (with dinner) or any beauty treatments. I have to say I do not recommend the facial. I had this (rather heavy handed) treatment and each application was removed using a very smelly flannel! It was horrible - I was glad when it was over. The rooms, with huge balcony, and pool were great

Perfect idyllic location.

Perfect idyllic location, offering free return transport to Ubud. Staff were so very friendly did not want to leave but wanted to experience differe t sides to Bali

The hotel was in an absolutely perfect idyllic location, overlooking the rice fields, some nice walks around & perfectly quiet to fully enjoy Bali

Lovely people and the room was really nice and clean, location not amazing as too far to walk to central ubud and not much around the hotel eg restaurants bars although the surroundings are pretty and the hotel runs a free shuttle bus to central ubud which is great.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location

Everything was perfect except for one minor element - The WiFi was irritating because it kept cutting out. Otherwise that beautiful grounds, gorgeous room and excellent food were beyond expectations.

Fantastic place for a relax away from the hussle and bussle. Staff super friendly and helpful. Great shuttle service into Ubud which took about 12 mins. Food tasty but menu limited and would benefit from a wider choice. Surrounded by rice fields, lovely rural location. Trips on offer at a reasonable price, would recommend the white water rafting as lots of fun and travel through beautiful for rest area. 1/2 day ubud trip saw many different cultural and craft activities with the chance to buy.

Nice staffs, Nice and spacious room, Quiet.

We booked 3 rooms. When we entered the rooms we were quite impressive. The room was spacious, clean, had a good smell. All staffs were nice and friendly. Shower room was good. Not small. Breakfast was not buffe. It was a set menu. Not many options but I was pleased with the quality of food. This hotel is in the middle of Ubud. Many tree and was quiet. I love it. Recommended.

Quaint hotel in a small village surroundings

Family of 4 with teens. We booked family room with breakfast included. Huge rooms with 2 bathrooms. Very comfortable bed. Excellent service, attentive staffs As its location is in the village area, and behind our rooms were stretched of road, so do expect activities early in the morning and sometimes even late at night which we were awaken by a loud motorbike sound. However, FO offered ear plugs. Otherwise, it can be peaceful and nice The hotel is lack of hanger for towels and used clothes. So we had to be creative. Hence we discovered Some part of the rooms were a little bit dusty - pole in the cabinet. We also noticed there is cob web on our roof. Breakfast is served ala carte. Not buffet like other hotels. We stayed for 2 nights. First night we ordered within the given selection as it is inclusive in our hotel reservation. We were pleasantly surprised, on our 2nd breakfast, we were given option, so it wasnt too bad. portion size is good. But perhaps for big eaters, it would be insufficient. Simple edible standard quality and taste. free snack served between 3-5pm with coffee or tea There is shuttle bus to ubud town area for free on hourly basis. Free bicycle for rent which can be used to venture the beautiful hotel surroundings Overall we are satisfied and happy with our stay. Love the service and beautiful surroundings

Onje Villas is a lovely resort about 15mins out of central Ubud. The hotel run a regular shuttle in and out of town through the day, and will also arrange extra pick ups for a 75000Rp fee. The pool is lovely and the communal gardens are beautiful and well maintained. There's good choice at breakfast, the wifi is strong and the rooms cleaned to a high standard. A good option if you don't mind being a little out of the centre.

Onje is the essence of Ubud

I am so happy I picked Onje for our stay in Ubud - it put us in the real Ubud away from the hustle and bustle of Monkey forest road and yet was close enough that it was convenient to go there when desired. Ade and the staff at the hotel were absolutely wonderful from the moment we arrived. The Villas are new and traditionally designed and landscaped to giving you the feeling you have landed in paradise - the sound of trickling water and nature all around you. The pool was small but never crowded and quite enjoyable as it overlooked the nearby paddy field. The bathrooms were open roof but private which added quite a nice touch. The hotel offers shuttles at hourly intervals (with a couple of breaks) throughout the day (last one back was 10:30pm) so getting to the town centre was easy. Off schedule drop offs and picks ups or tours are easy to arrange through the front desk. Note that you are out in the country side so expect early rooster calls and crickets - noises that really take you back to nature but are disliked by some. Not a problem for me at all. Onje gets a 5/5 from me.

Great place in Ubud

Great hotel, spacious room, good wi-fi, breakfast needs to be ordered a day before -tastes ok, recommend taking scooter in Ubud city because it is a little bit outside Ubud (however there is a free shuttle few times a day), rice-field view wasn't as good as expected, pool big and nice, generally speaking - recommend

Dejligt hotel med stort familieværelse

Et dejligt hotel, som vi synes var meget bedre end vi havde forventet ift. billeder vi havde set. Shuttle til/fra Ubud fungerer super godt. Fine små aktiviteter for børn f.eks Wood carving. Poolen er super dejlig. De er meget søde - alle, som arbejder der - men de er godt nok ikke særligt servicemindede generelt - eller forstår en dårligt - det har vi dog oplevet flere steder på Bali. Vi har kun en enkelt negativ ting og det er at hotellet ligger lige midt i en lille landsby, hvor haner og hunde hhv. Galer og gør om kap fra kl 4 om morgenen. Efter 5 nætter måtte vi glæde os til at få sovet en hel nat næste sted.

Rust vlakbij te grote drukte van Ubud.

Hotel heeft een shuttlebus om mensen naar en van Ubud te brengen / halen. Alleen wel reserveren is benodigd daar er maar beperkte plaatsen beschikbaar zijn, Max. 6. Fietsen zijn gratis verkrijgbaar om de buurt te verkennen, namelijk allerlei rijstvelden.

Rest and relaxation

Peaceful and relaxing. Very quiet in the rice fields. Superb breakfast and free shuttle to Ubud. Will recommend and stay again.
